i think human beings are given a greater cognition, that we choose to ignore. it is possible in this society to not eat meat and live a healthy normal life. but there are challenges with that, because we are brought up with greasy hamburgers beings used to satiate us. its all we know. remember when we were kids and we pretty much thought vegetable and other healthy foods where yucky? where did that come from? its up to human beings to make the effort to change and quite frankly most humans are afraid of that.

i love that you wrote this, it makes me happy. atleast youre aware of the world around you.

if you havent seen the movie supersize me, check it out.

and those are some interesting facts. some people are pretty hardcore on vegetarianism. but not eating honey and things like that seems ridiculous. but from what i have heard from any smart vegetarian is that they dont think eating meat, eggs and milk is bad but its just how the animals are treated when these things are mass produced. So i guess the point is that these products should be gathered naturally instead of filling a swimming pool full of chickens and having some disgusting fat guy go stomp around on them.

meat is not required for our health. we can get all the amino acids our body needs to synthesize proteins form corn and beans. there is a reason agriculture was developed. so man wouldnt have to waste all his time worrying about feeding himself. when simply getting food is your primary concern.....one is not capable of engaging in the higher intellectual pursuits. without agriculture our society would have never soared to the heights it has achieved. we would have never had time to think of all the inventions that advanced our society beyond comprehesion ( ... )
