I just spent the last three hours with my head in between my speakers (literally), completely and positively immersed in sound and thought. It's unreal how fucking uplifting a night of music and intellectual inquiry can be.

I absolutely agree, except when I immerse myself in music the intellectual inquiry doesn't come and I get lost in the music.

Sometimes I listen to music centered around my emotional standing, so I have little choice.

I did that today, after I had smoked a bowl. I put on my headphones and just blasted Porcupine Tree. When it got to IX - Time Flies I couldn't help but be so immersed in the music that I couldn't stop moving.

Music is life.
