Commissioned for another painting. I suppose I shouldn't complain about the work I'm given, but portraits do get so boring after so many of them. Work is work, though, and the fee is enough to support me for a full month. Working for the royal family has its benefits. I never have to worry about becoming as poor as most of the peasants.

Yeah, but doing all of that... do you even have time to work on your own stuff anymore?

No, but I suppose that's the price I must pay for stability.

...Hmph. What a waste of talent.

I cannot live on what I might make on my own merits...I have a few originals I'm nearly done with, however.

Your work is always pleasing to the eye, my dear. I am tempted to commission another piece, but my sister won't allow it.

That is a shame. May I be so bold as to ask why she would deny you that?

I think it's because I frivolously spend too much money. That and I already have two of your pieces adorning my bedroom.

It's always such a pleasure to have repeat customers, though. I am honoured you enjoy my work so much.
