A pen and a piece of paper {Chapter 16}
Jin wanted to sink his fist so deep into the concrete so he couldn’t feel anymore the pain of not being able to do anything to keep Kazuya safe in the end…He was so angry on his useless self. He kept on hitting the asphalt with both of his fists. Soon it was too much for him and he broke down not being able to stop the tears that started to wet the dry asphalt, his nails still scratching the cement.
/I am living a nightmare…/
If someone would have asked Jin how long had he stayed there in the middle of the road, crying they would receive only silence.
He didn’t know…. he didn’t know exactly what was stronger the physical pain or the emotional one.
When he stopped crying and managed to calm down and pull himself together the best he could in the given situation, Otokoyama sneaked his head between Jin’s arms. Like a zombie Jin walked back to his house his steps falling harder and harder on the ground.
Once he arrived home he looked around and he sighed. He wasn’t there he person he wanted so much to see wasn’t there. And it scared the crap out of Jin thinking about the way Reio’s sick mind worked.
At the first look everyone thought Reio was sweet and carrying but Jin and Yuu saw the monster that Reio truly was and they sure learned it the hard way.
In complete silence Jin sat down on the couch and stared at the ceiling.
Nothing changed for a few good hours until Jin’s zombie hand reached for his phone and he started dialing some well known digits.
After a few rings a sleepy voice answered.
“What happened Jin? The sun is not even up and you already have a problem…” Yamapi clasped his mouth a few times trying to get rid of that strange sensation in his mouth.
“Kazuya was kidnapped by Reio…”
When Yamashita heard that he jumped from his bed , falling on his back on the hard floor
“WHATT???”
“What happened? Why are you screaming so loud??” between the mattress and he pillows another sleepy voice was heard. That voice happened to belong to none else than Yamapi’s lover.
“I am sorry baby.” His tone changed. “But this is important.”
“What happened?”
Ryo sat up pulling the covers around his body and with a worried voice asked his lover softly.
“Yamapi tell me what the hell happened?” he was getting irritated as he saw how hesitating Yamapi was.
“Reio has finally made his move……. He kidnapped Kazuya…”
Both of them were shocked by the news, and they didn’t know how they should react. Yamashita raised his mobile once again to his ear and he wasn’t hearing anything except for hard breaths.
“Jin are you still there?”
“Yea…”
“I will call Ueda and we will be at your place as soon as possible! Stay calm and don’t do anything irrational.”
And for an hour Jin did nothing else then sitting emotionless on the couch.
Pi and Ryo immediately started getting dressed. 35 minutes after they received Jin’s call they were already with a leg outside the door.
Pi grabbed his sunglasses from the table and he pulled his falling locks that surrounded his face around his ears and soon his eyes were covered by the dark lenses.
Ryo stopped a little and he studied his lover and a smile appeared on his face.
“You look like you were saying to yourself something like ” Pi showed his legendary smirk and he groped Ryo’s ass.
A yelp escaped his lips and he turned his hand to slap Pi’s shoulder. But his hand was squeezed between their bodies as Yamashita pulled his butler into a deep kiss.
As soon as Pi’s car entered on the main runway that took them to the selective neighborhood where Jin lived a car appeared behind theirs.
And soon both of them recognized Ueda’s shiny car. And it was really strange because the one that was driving wasn’t Junno it was in fact Ueda.
And both Ryo and Pi gasped in shock when they saw Ueda with the wheel in his hands. They turned to face each other in shock remembering the last time Ueda had driven.
“He is mad…” Ryo pointed out referring to Ueda.
“I think he is worried for Kazuya…”
When they arrived at Jin’s mansion they observed another strange car parked on his alley. And when they stepped into the house a strong coffee aroma filled their senses.
“Yuu is here?” Ueda’s voice was trembling really hard.
Junno, Pi and Ryo were shocked.
“How did you know this?”
“This aroma of coffee always follows Yuu.”
Ueda left his friends, ignored Jin and went right in the kitchen.
“Yuu..” embarrassed from saying his name so loud Ueda immediately closed his mouth. With his mouth closed he just stood there waiting for anything.
Life is such a bitch.
Life is so ironical.
Life is so cruel.
Life is bitter.
Life is beautiful.
Life has ups and downs. And the biggest down of Ueda’s life was that he allowed himself to fall in love with Yuu.
And it happened that also Yuu loved someone that was far out of his reach.
“Tatsuya!” Yuu turned around his eyes puffy red from crying.
Ueda marched right in front of the younger man and he embraced him, holding him as strong as he possibly could . He had waited so long for the moment to feel this close to Yuu again.
“I missed you Tatsuya.” Without realizing he was crying once again but the feelings that were behind those tears were totally different from a few minutes ago.
“I missed you too Yuu…” he felt his whole face trembling, his heart was crying but he managed somehow to form a smile.
“So it is true Reio did kidnap Kazuya.”
In his tight embrace Ueda felt the younger one nodding.
“I am so glad you are here Tatsuya.”
“Don’t worry , I will always be near you to protect you.” But Ueda knew too well Yuu didn’t want him to be there, he wanted someone else in his place…Yuu wanted Reio….
After a few good moments Yuu broke the embrace.
In a strange and twisted way Yuu loved Ueda a lot. But that was a totally different type of love. The difference between the feelings of love that he shares for Ueda and Reio was something like the difference between the Earth and the Sun.
When Ueda entered the living room with Yuu after him caring the coffees Junno immediately observed the strange atmosphere between them. It was so strange and he was worried for his master.
/This love will only absorb Ueda-sama’s life just like in Yuu’s case. They are empty shells emotionless and loveless./
That view in front of his eyes felt like one hundred knives stabbing him in his heart.
Yuu placed the small coffee mugs on the table in front of the couch and he waited for something to happen.
“What are we doing now? Shouldn`t we alert the police first?” Ryo broke that strange silence with his husky voice.
“NO!.” Jin shouted. “No! They would only make the whole thing worse , they`ll keep digging into the past and by the time they`ll finally manage to find Kazuya…if they do…No! This is between me and my brother , I’ve got to save Kazuya with my own two hands!”
Yamapi sighed and he jumped on the couch closer to his friend. And he was shocked when he observed Jin’s hands.
“Yuu bring the first aid kit!”
“Ehh?”
“NOW!”
When Yuu was out of the room Pi turned around angry.
“Why have you called him?” he was almost strangling Jin.
“I didn’t know what to do..” Jin’s eyes were avoiding Yamashita’s eyes so hard but when Pi pushed him his eyes fell on Pi’s face.
He was red with anger.
“Look at Ueda! If you were his true friend you should have kept one of them away from this business. And I don’t understand why Yuu had to know about this!”
Jin’s eyes left Pi’s angry face and he searched in the room for Ueda. The older man was turned around looking at the door Yuu disappeared.
“I am sorry. But…Yuu is his brother….don`t u think he had the right to know?”
Yuu appeared from the door Ueda had been staring at and he was greeted by Ueda’s peaceful smile as soon as he walked out of the room.
He walked past Ueda and kneeled down in front of Jin and started treating Jin’s bruises.
Ryo and Pi disappeared for a while and when they came back Pi was biting his nails scared.
“We can’t do anything. We just have to wait and hope Reio will call.”
“Oh…knowing my brother….he will contact me…he will call…after all it`s me that he wants to hurt…” Jin said closing his eyes trying to suppress the pain that he was feeling, coming from both of his injured hands right now….or was it from the excruciating pain that he felt in his heart and soul…all he could feel was pain overflowing in his whole body and an almost surreal determination to bring Kazuya back home safe .

On the other side of the city in an old and strange warehouse a few men were trying to calm down Kazuya. Even though he was tied up with ropes on a chair he was still agitated and screaming.
Three men were uselessly trying to calm him down.
“Leave me alone you beasts!” He felt needles stinging him in his throat as he kept on screaming.
Reio’s left boot opened the door almost ripping it in two.
“Make him stop! I want to sleep! Make him shut up!”
His boots were taking him right in the middle of the strange and wet room, right to Kazuya.
“Shut up!” Reio screamed in Kazuya’s face almost spitting on him.
“Put something in his mouth that should really shut him up...you brainless idiots.” And with that he left.
A few good hours passed and nothing important happened. Jin was still eating his brain out in an attempt to find a solution better than just staying and waiting for Reio to call , in the living room with his friends while Kazuya was sitting tied to that chair in the warehouse.
/ I am so sorry Jin…I want to get back at the mansion…I want you back even though you are sometimes annoying... I want you back!/
A few tears rolled down his cheek and soon he was crying really hard.
The same thing happened with Jin while he was staring at nothing with his mind full of thoughts…a small tear fell down his face. No one observed it but Jin knew why it was there.
“I made so many mistakes but this was the biggest one. I have so many things to tell him…I haven’t even told him about that stupid thing in the contract!”
Everyone turned around stunned.
“And he still showed up his emotions towards you...even though he knew very well what was in the in the initial contract ???”
Everyone had their mouths wide opened.
“Even though he knew what happened in the past with other people??”
“Why haven’t you told him? Do you imagine how thorn up he must`ve felt? Having to choose between you and his family? ”
“He loves you that much that he decided to risk everything… can you imagine how scared he must`ve felt?”
“Stop it! Stop all of you! I know it! I wanted to tell him about that thing! I wanted to tell him many other things! So just shut up!!!”
He was getting really nervous, annoyed, and angry. It wasn’t his fault…was it?
“It is my fault he was kidnapped?” slowly he muttered those words. His friends only saw his lips moving but they haven’t heard anything coming out.
“I just want him back safe!”He was screaming and he was agitating really hard.
“Reio will give him back to you.” Desperately Pi tried to calm down his friend but nothing.
Suddenly Jin pulled Pi in another room.
“You haven’t seen Reio’s true skin. He is a monster! He can destroy a person only with his poisonous tongue. He can read the truth behind someone’s mask and use that truth against them! Because of him Yuu is how he is now, scared of everything, scared of his own shadow! He is my brother but I can’t understand why he is that way. He is selfish and he can right now destroy him…”
Panic, pain, worry, anger everything related to those emotions were showing on Jin’s face.
“I don’t want Kazuya to turn into a puppet like Yuu did! Yuu loved Reio more than his own family and Reio just broke his heart into pieces with words that could and probably made him wish he never felt the feeling of love in the first place, and now Yuu is destroying Ueda.”
“I can’t stand that view either..but Jin , right now we can’t do anything.”
When those words imprinted on his brain Jin released Pi’s shirt.

“Do you want some water?”
One of the men asked him coming closer to him with a white plastic glass filled with water.
/Why are they treating me so nicely?? I am supposed to be kidnapped./
With his puffy red eyes Kazuya looked up at the man and he nodded. The water was so cold and it relaxed him a lot. Soon his whole body was numb and he realized he couldn’t even move a finger.
After a few hours he woke up from the screams. Reio was in a really bad mode and he was throwing around a lot of stuff.
“Who asked you to drug him?” Reio apparently was screaming at the big man that brought him the water.
And he threw a fist in that man’s stomach sending the man on the ground crying.
Kazuya was so surprised by Reio’s power he almost screamed and that caught Reio’s attention.
And he pulled the phone out of his pocket.

Everyone turned their heads to the ringing phone. Jin’s hands were again trembling as he read on the screen the name “Reio”.
“Hello?”
“Ohh Jin I missed you.”
“Reio…”
Yuu’s heart stopped at that instant and he stopped breathing.
“Yep that is my name…if you haven’t remembered up until now.”
Yuu snapped out of his trance and he pushed everyone around him and he climbed on the small table and grabbed Jin’s phone.
“Reio is that you?” Yuu screamed desperately into the phone but no one answered back.
Reio’s phone dropped on the ground his hand becoming a jelly when he heard Yuu’s voice screaming back at him.
/Yuuu? What is that you?/ he asked himself
And Reio remained in that way a few seconds his head bent down surrounded in silence.
/Yuu was on the phone?/ Kazuya was shocked.
A few more had passed by until Jin`s phone started ringing again. .
“I hope your little friends aren’t there, go to another room.”
As he was instructed Jin left his friends in silence and he went in his bedroom.
“You shouldn’t have said anything to Yuu. That was a very big mistake…brother….” His voice was so bitter
“Is Kazuya fine? Have you hurt him?”
“He is fine I haven’t done anything to him.”
Reio heard a sigh.
“What do you want?”
“Well I am glad you weren’t so stupid to call the police. All I want is for you to come alone after your dear butler….”
“…okay…just wait for me…”
When Reio closed the phone he turned around to his men.
“Boys get ready, our guest of honor is on his way.” Reio’s face was so scary that Kazuya thought that other man will soon turn into the devil himself.
Suddenly he felt shoved into a horror story. He was terrified by what the near future might bring to him and his master.
Without realizing from the sound of some metal crashing, he turned around and he saw all of the men holding knives and bats in their hands and evil smiles on their faces.
“We will welcome my “brother” in our own characteristic warm way.”
