Misha blew me away in the episode. Best acting from him I've ever seen. But that's probably because he was given a chance to show us what he's got. Rather than the same old crap they've been giving him for 3 seasons.
In the end, I'll probably forgive Dean for this. I feel his actions towards Cas were mostly unjustified, but really he's just being Dean. He's getting all weepy and emo over how his family is treating him, and he'll probably come around in the end, and why in the hell am I defending him right now o_O Ugh. Dean, you're on probation as far as I'm concerned, do not try and sway me with your pretty eyelashes and pouty lips and all of your adorable abandonment issues.
Is it bad that part of the reason I want Cas to die is so Misha can go do other things? And part of the reason I want Cas to live is so Misha can keep his cushy job and still have time for his wife and West? >_> Because I think he likes the same old crap he's been given for 3 seasons, even if it has to be artistically frustrating.
I don't know if I'll ever forgive him. Part of the reason I got so behind in the show was I am so tired of his whining. All he does is whine. Seriously, that "I don't speak little bitch" line... I appreciate it more and more every day, lol! I always forgave him for it in the past seasons, so idk why it's finally gotten to me. Actually, I do know why. It's because he's doing all the whining at Cas and giving Cas a hard time, lol! Dean needs a swift kick in the ass... don't forgive him. Just remember how badly he needs to be smacked upside his head when you see his face next. ;-)
THIS DEAN LITERALLY MADE ME DOUBLE-TAKE WITH ALL OF HIS LOVE FOR CAS.
YES! I can't even. *sigh* I loved seeing this Dean, but he came out of nowhere, and then expected us to just believe him? Nuh uh. Not cool.
Honestly, I still love season 6 so much, even with all its crap, but Dean's development, and this episode in particular, had me WTF-ing all over the place.

1- Misha Collins owns my soul. Forever and always.
2- Dean is dead to me.

I'm with you. THIS, Dark side of the moon, and Monster at the end of this book are all my fav eps ever. I have also watched it 4 times.
I love you.
