I've been saying it over and over: I hope this break from touring will get them in touch with their old enthusiasm over their music. Well, it seems to be working on Patrick.
Personally, I just think Pete's taking it slow and not risking any more injuries. Let's hope that breaking his leg doesn't diminish his fearlessness on stage.
I didn't realize they lost the enthusiasm. But yeah, they deserved a break. I know they're all still working but I hope they're also rejuvenating.
Pete's allowed to take it easy. Certainly don't need another broken foot. He's not as young as he used to be. *g*
Love your icon up there at the main post. Reminds me of his youth and enthusiasm. Kinda like this seven continents thing. I can picture the conversation with Patrick:
Pete: Hey, how many continents have we played on? Patrick: I don't know, look it up. Pete: Six, we've played on six. Has anyone ever played on all seven? Patrick: I don't know, look it up. Pete: Dude, we should totally play in Antarctica! And like, get into the World Book Of Records. Patrick: *rolls eyes and starts packing warm socks and argyle sweaters*
