[Sylvanas awoke with a bit of a start. Sleeping? She hadn't slept in...she didn't even know how long. Much like her recent brush with death, she had seen only darkness...and awoken. Had she died again

[Sylvanas turns quickly, knife in a ready position held backwards in her fist.]

[Sylvanas chokes down her immediate response to attack. No, there is no telling what is going on here...how she was stripped of her form and placed into a human body. For all she knew this could be the insanely powerful sorcerer responsible for it. Sylvanas straightens her body out, leaving her knife-hand rested at her side to display body language that she would not attack the human.]

These are simply the clothes I awoke in. Perhaps you would be so kind as to explain the situation?

[The knife hand may be relaxed at her side...but she's tensed...ready for anything. Her ability to fight hasn't suffered too terribly much...but she'll have to learn to function without the senses gained through magical means.]

[Sylvanas did her best to visibly relax, though her body was still coiled and ready for anything. The knife, however...she lifted it a bit, looking down at it. She then let the hand drop to her side once again. When she speaks, it seems she makes the choice to completely ignore the comments on her looks and choice of clothing.]

Unfortunately, due to my choice in clothing I have nowhere to place the weapon. You'll have to excuse it.

I will not attack unprovoked, I am well enough versed in proper wartime politics. Though I suppose introductions should come first.

I am...[Sylvanas pauses for but a moment to re-think using her title. She hardly even appeared to be in Azeroth any longer...so she figured her name may not cause too many problems.]...Sylvanas. You are?

[With that, Sylvanas removes her arm and gracefully moves in front of Rumia, holding the knife behind her back.]

[Sylvanas had at least known this one was coming, she straightened herself up, sliding the knife behind her back and giving the young lady a hard look. She didn't want to frighten this one the same way she had frightened the young child in the house.]

Hello. Perhaps you would be kind enough to inform me of where I am, and what is going on?

[Sylvanas is trying to keep her voice as gentle as possible...but it's obvious she's tense to all hell.]

[Offering the blanket to the new woman Ruri looks over her in a fairly deadpan way]

"You woke up in a bed that wasn't yours. Possibly next to someone who you didn't know, in clothes that aren't yours. If that is correct, the town of Mayfield, where you are, has kidnapped you."

[Sylvanas dismisses the offer of a blanket.]

Thank you, but I shall not be needing it. [Sylvanas isn't sure how much of who she really is should be explained...and she's also unsure how much of it the child would even understand.]

So...if that is true...there are certain things which have been done that suggest the individual who has "kidnapped" me has the power of a God. Who exactly is my captor?

It's a telephone, the etymology meaning 'sound at a long distance'. Simply speaking, it converts sound waves to electrical waves that are passed along a network and then converted back to sound waves.

[There is a loud thud, Sylvanas obviously let go of the phone when it spoke. After a very short moment the sound of the receiver being picked up again is heard.]

Is this a creation made by those irritating little Goblin engineers? Also, if this device moves sound, am I to assume there is another being on the other end of this?

It's been made by humans, but they probably were engineers. And yes, I am another being speaking into a similar--probably identical, given the setup of this town--device.

[Sylvanas then tries out putting the phone to her ear. It was obviously shaped for doing so...and it seemed to work quite well.]

Well, considering my attempted to gain information haven't resulted in much yet...would you care to give me some information on the situation?

[At least Sylvanas didn't have to fear an attack from a voice over the phone...so she was a little more relaxed for this conversation.]

[Sylvanas doesn't deliver a second strike, just simply stands by the bed, still in her nightgown, with one hand planted on her hip and the other holding the pan up.]

[Sylvanas has at least learned some stuff from the phone and the child in the house...but she was still looking for information.]

[Sylvanas still has the pan gripped in her hand as she crosses her arms over her chest, pacing back and forth around the bed as she seems deep in thought.]

Well, we will certainly have to sort a few things out over time, however now is not the time to do so.
