I have seen many new monsters these past few days, among the kinds that roam the city. They seemed to appear as if from thin air. Perhaps they are migrating in, anticipating the changing of the seasons ( Read more... )

The cacti...

I believe I am familiar with the type of monster. You find them in the Dalmascan Estersands. They're called cactoids. Usually quite harmless and rarely hostile unless attacked first though watch out for any with a large bloom on their head.

The wolves and puppets were scattered here and there, but the pumpkin-goblins were found only near the shops. The cactu-- Cactoid was near the high school, and I only found one.

And not to mine. Sometimes they are difficult in groups, without my spells... But it is simple enough work if I draw them off one by one.

It is true. I only go out and hunt them to pass the time, but it has become more difficult as of late. I have had to flee their clutches more than once now, as much as I dislike admitting it.
