i guess i may have gotten a new dog today.

a friend of the family had taken in a big ol' skinny stray and her pup and tried to locate the owners. no such luck. they gave away the pup, and unless someone comes forward to claim the dog, i can keep her. i didn't really want another dog just yet... but... she's awfully sweet.

reddish black with white on her chest and ankles.

lotsa breadbox. i'd estimate about 60 lbs right now, even though she's ghastly skinny. and her head is massive.

ha -- i was gonna hunt you down and tell you i got a new dog since i sorta consider you my "animal wellfare friend". i'd say she's gotta be at LEAST half lab (she has a lab head), but yeah, i think she's a good part Bernese, and maybe a bit pointer.
