GENERAL
How do you feel about 4th wall breaking?
The good thing about Hetalia is that much of the canon consists of humorous themes that thrive off the zany and unpredictable. In fact, there were a few instances where the 4th wall was knocked on within the series, and so it's not something that can't be considered. I certainly don't mind if your character [realistically] knows information about the country of Norway and its history. As for being part of a series that parodies world history? It's fine as long as there's canon evidence that Hetalia exists in your character's canon.
Is there something specific that you don't want anyone to know about your character?
At the moment I cant think of anything on the top of my head, though if it's something that Norway himself has not confessed then you'll probably have to ask about details.
How do you feel about threadjacking?
It really depends on the situation. It's not minded so much if the threads being invaded aren't at all serious, so feel free to intervene if you have a casual reason to. However, you’ll definitely have to ask for permission first if the subject matter is darker or more serious, or if the thread itself is more 'involved' (which kind of relates to the two previous traits).
What about spamming your posts?
If the post itself makes it obvious that it shouldn't be taken seriously, then go right ahead!
How about sudden action threads? You post an entry, and a character starts an [action] thread, apparently knowing where your character is somehow, or just randomly bumping into them. In some cases it might be realistic (if they're roommates, for instance), but should they ask first?:
Sudden action threads are a case-by-case basis, but so long as it actually makes sense for your character to come across Norway, then I'm perfectly fine with this. Of course, if you're unsure you’re free to ask, and chances are good that I'll be okay regardless.
INFORMATION
Name?
His official title is The Kingdom of Norway, or Kongeriket Norge (Norwegian). He'll introduce himself as Norway, though he'll answer equally to Nor.
I'm not too fond of fanon human names, so for that Norway's will be unknown unless absolutely necessary.
What species is your character?
He's a country/nation, which technically means he's the embodiment of his lands and people, so it's a pretty abstract concept.
Is there anything strange in your character's blood, DNA, etc. that other characters might be able to sense?
It's actually somewhat challenging to answer this question, given that Norway's existence can leave a lot for interpretation depending, plus there's that uniqueness within his own kind that he only really shares with England with their magical sensitivity. What actually composes his 'blood' and 'DNA' is pretty much unknown.
What does your character's soul look like?
Probably some dark shade of blue. It'd likely convey something calm and serene, or maybe something particularly manly.
Is it possible to read anything from your character's soul?
That he's forever the husband. I DON'T KNOW.
Does your character have any abilities that other characters may be able to somehow sense?
Other than being a country, there is one other trait about him that may be sensed by those who are sensitive to it. Given that Norway's in-tune with the supernatural, it wouldn't be absurd to assume that he gives off a high concentration of magical/spiritual energy.
Is your character surrounded by something else that might somehow 'stick'?
What is this question even.
Can your characters thoughts be read? Only surface thoughts? Are characters free to dig into tragic pasts and hidden secrets? Or will they only know what they are thinking at the exact moment their thoughts are being read?
If I give you permission you're free have your character read Norway's thoughts, and they might actually be surprised with the Nordic's thought process. Of course, he doesn't exactly hide much, so the end result of his thoughts and what he actually says are nearly identical with one another. If it can be helped, it'd be preferred just to stick with the present, as delving into the past might create too many complications at the moment.
Is it possible to communicate with your character through telepathy?
That'd actually be pretty fun in my opinion, though Norway probably wouldn't treat it as anything special if the aim was to impress.
Is it possible to see what your character is doing through psychic powers?
This is fine with me as long as it's for relatively harmless reasons.
Is it possible to sense your character's location somehow?
That’s also fine with me, though if your character has malicious intentions then I'd prefer you to ask me first.
Is it possible to sense your character's emotions? Intentions?
It's kind of a running gag within the canon that more complex emotions reside 'in the atmosphere' and that many characters (like Italy and America) are generally unable to take read it.
Given that Norway's an insular individual that presents a contained personality (for the most part, unless he's in the company of other Nordics), it'd take some patience to dissect his emotions. Of course, he actually has no problem speaking with what exactly comes to mind, so he'll be more likely to give you the answer himself than you having to search. However, if your character is the type to study closely or catch subtle shifts in emotions, then you're free to take notice of any changes.
Does your character have any mental walls or defenses up?
He probably could be capable of it due to mental strength, but given that he doesn't have much to hide in the first place then there's really no point to it.
Can your character be mind controlled?
Only if given permission with a good reason!
FIGHTING
Is he a capable fighter?
After existing for over a millennium it'd only be right to assume that he's capable of fighting. Thanks to his slim build he's rather nimble on his feet, though his overall strength is compensated by that.
When it comes to weaponry, Norway is particularly seasoned with blunt objects, but he can be a decent shot if worst comes to worst. However, the Nordic's real specialty comes in using his magic abilities. He'll often summon some supernatural creature (most likely his troll) in order to dispatch his enemies, and it can only be assumed that he's knowledgeable in a moderate array of spells.
Can I punch/stab/shoot/hit with a car/hurt him in general?
You're certainly welcome to! Just as long as I get a heads up about it to make sure it doesn’t conflict with anything.
Can I kill him?
This is something I'll have to put a definite no on. I have no intentions of killing Norway, so I'd like to forgo any situations where he'd be in that kind of danger. Sorry!
In terms of wining or losing, where you would rather they stand?
I don't really care about the outcome as long as it makes sense for it to happen. So, I'm not really leaning towards either.
Can we just fade to black and assume what happened?
As long as we discussed and agreed on the end result of the conflict beforehand, then it's perfectly okay to fade to black. Do mind that I'm more than willing to backthread into forever though, so if you're skipping it because you're worried about taking up my time then don't sweat it!
ROMANCE
So, can I fall in love with him?
Well, he is irresistibly smooth. 8)
Can I hit it?
You can certainly try, though he'll likely catch on fast and drop you like a Swede in a Danish bar.
Can I kiss him?
Of course! That is, if you want to get punched in the face in the immediate future. But joking aside, you can! I just can’t promise he'll react all that much.
What's his orientation anyway?
Seemingly asexual, but spontaneously bisexual and a bit of a lazy opportunist in reality. Norway generally isn't overt about any implications until the actual action is taking place. In other words, he doesn't care until someone-anyone-makes the first move or if it's the rare case where he's in the mood to initiate it.
Are you willing to play out relationships?
I'm open to anything to your heart's content. ♥
