Aequitas

In Roman mythology, Aequitas was the minor God of honesty and fairness in contracts in negotiations, including honest merchants. Aequitas represents true fairness, a different concept from justice-for justice is under the law, and must follow it to the letter. Equity, however, is beyond the laws made by mankind, which, however fairly intended, must always be imperfect. Equity is what allows the law to be modified in circumstances that could not have been foreseen by the original lawmakers: with honesty and conscience. This is shown in the definition given for the Latin word æquitas, which, besides "fairness" and "impartiality", also means "symmetry and evenness", represented by balancing scales. During the Roman Empire, Aequitas was sometimes worshipped as a quality or aspect of the emperor, under the name Aequitas Augusti.

Vulcan
Hierophant Arcana
Also identified as the Greek god of fire and smithery, Hephaestus, Vulcan is the crippled son of Jupiter and Juno, who was hurled off of Mount Olympus when born and then raised by ocean nymphs. When discovered that he had survived and was skilled at his blacksmithing, Juno demanded he return to Mount Olympus; instead, Vulcan sent Juno a beautiful chair made of silver and gold, which was really a cleverly designed trap and held Juno fast. When she couldn't escape on her own Jupiter offered Venus as a wife to whoever could finally set her free, and Vulcan decided to take it upon himself to release Juno and win the hand of Venus. However, despite his obvious skill and cleverness, Vulcan was more often than not the butt of the rest of the Gods and Godesses' jokes. Considered to be an artisan and metalworker and the only God in his mythology that worked, Vulcan is credited with having taught mankind that working and excelling at one's craft is a noble desire.
