Waking in Budehuc was still a surreal experience for the ex-General. The architecture was all wrong, but at least he was startled upon seeing it when he woke anymore. He woke early, of course, and part of that reason was that he was a bit cold. The source of that was, naturally, the red head cover-hogger that was bundled up not far away. Culgan tugged a bit of stray cover free to cover his shoulders for a few moments while he studied his sleeping comrade.
Seed always looked so peaceful, for him, while he was sleeping. The younger man’s mouth was parted ever so slightly; his chest rose and fell… causing the blankets to do the same. That flaming hair of his was tousled in a way that was disturbingly attractive. Culgan brushed a stray strand of crimson out of his friend’s face with a sigh.
Today was going to be a good day. Having decided that, he moved his hand to shake Seed’s shoulder gently.
