Welcome to Colorado, and thank you for the rain! We desperately need it!

I'm impressed they're putting you up at the Brown Palace. It's "the" queen hotel in Denver- a real historical artifact and supposedly super nice -- not just pretty to look at. I hope you're not paying the going rate for it, because I'm sure it would cost an arm and a leg. I'm glad they're giving you free wifi at least in the lobby, too. That's nice.

I've always thought it odd that the 16th Street Mall kind of closes up shop at 5pm. That's weird for a so-called city-center pedestrian mall. Definitely doesn't make you want to linger.

It seems I have free WiFi in my room too. Wheee! Well, I can access the WiFi from my room and I'm pretty sure I'm not getting billed for it.

I was surprised that only restaurants seemed to be open on 16th street, but it is Monday night after all.

It was very classy! But also very expensive. I need to win the lottery in order to be able to pay to stay there!
