Kazumi awaited someone to face her at a sandbar at the bottom of a waterfall. Tenshi arrived... And completely kicked Kazumi's butt for several minutes until Evangeline's voice towered across the resort, releasing her.

Ryouko was waiting at a large Gazebo - eventually facing Reisen. Well, a Reisen who had just been given (against her will...) a high-powered power-up pill by Eirin. The result was Reisen winning, and rather quickly. Per orders, she proceeded to (once the resort's spell let them out) drag Ryouko to Eirin for examination... But that's another thread.

You've been given pretty simple orders - wait here, and when someone shows up, fight them until they're KO'd or Surrender. You lose, you're not worthy of service. To your influenced mind, that doesn't sound very good.

(9:38:00 PM) Estelle-mun: Estelle cocked her head to the side, blinking wide eyes at Katina. "Hello there Katina. Nice weather we're having."
(9:38:52 PM) Katina-mun: Katina sighed. This was getting on her nerves fast. "Yo, Estelle. Uh... yeah. It is some kinda... magical beach or something, right?" Not a place with much cover - great.
(9:39:45 PM) Estelle-mun: "It's the beach in my mistresses resort," replied Estelle with a polite nod. "The temperature is a perfect 25 degrees Celcius and there is enough space for us."
(9:41:33 PM) Katina-mun: "Sure looks like plenty of room." Katina shifted, holding her submachine gun lightly. Not the best place for the grenades she brought, and she couldn't seriously injure Estelle - the knife and magnum were for Evangeline.
(9:42:36 PM) Estelle-mun: Estelle nodded politely as she sighed. "I'm afraid we must come to blows love, mistress ordered it. After all, I'm here to please her." In a flash of light, she summoned her sword and shield, her most powerful weapons as she smiled vapidly. "Please try not to hold back or you'll die."
(9:44:24 PM) Katina-mun: Great, a shield, probably good at not even being dented by rubber shots. Maybe the element of surprise would work though - without further warning, Katina trailed a burst up from the ground at Estelle's feet to her chest. The projectiles were subsonic but still very, very fast, and Estelle's shield couldn't cover her whole body.
(9:45:57 PM) Estelle-mun: Estelle took the shots directly, wincing slightly, but stood there as she smiled out from behind the weapon. "Dear, I said no holding back." And she blurred, darting to the side and swinging her sword upwards in a cleaving arc. She didn't need to hit Katina, just aim in her general direction. "Star Stroke!" And a blast of blue energy erupted from her weapon and shot at Katina.
(9:47:47 PM) Katina-mun: Damn she was sturdy... that would already be enough to have anyone normal on her knees. Of course, the fact that Estelle hadn't swung at point blank meant a ranged attack, and an upwards stroke wasn't hard to sidestep - while flicking out a flashbang grenade on a short fuse, then turning away and covering her ears at just the right count. Katina wasn't even bothering with banter at this point.
(9:49:51 PM) Estelle-mun: That vapid smile on Estelle's face, she didn't even stumble when the flash bang hit, but it did blank out her hearing and sight for a while. "Good shot!" she proclaimed, spinning around in a three sixty motion as hammers fell from the sky like out of a cartoon. "Pow Hammer!"
(9:51:36 PM) Katina-mun: Not one Katina had seen much of - she had to squint to keep the sand kicked up from the falling hammer out of her eyes, diving back out of their range. Her hearing was still a little funny despite covering her ears, but hopefully Estelle's eyes were worse off - at least enough to not block a solid burst of rubber bullets at her torso.
(9:53:52 PM) Estelle-mun: Estelle flew backwards from the impact and landed with a soft fump, but she was right back up. "Recover," she intoned as magic flickered around her, restoring her sight and hearing. "Barrier, First Aid," added the girl as a magic forceshield went up around her and her body recovered from injury. She bowed politely at Katina and chanted quickly. Best dodge Katina as there's going to be several magic white spears hurling at you. "HOLY LANCE!"
(9:56:05 PM) Katina-mun: Well shit, her casting speed was up too. At this rate she'd just have to throw in and make up any injuries to Estelle by nursing her back to health... but right now, she had to desperately dive away from the magical lances aimed at her. She then simply ran along the shore, keeping an even distance from Estelle - getting hit by anything right now would be very, very bad.
(9:57:23 PM) Estelle-mun: "You're not getting away~!" singsonged Estelle as she took after Katina, chanting as she did so. "Angel Ring!" A circle of light formed around the pair and compressed, hoping to drag Katina within melee range as her next spell was already on her lips.
(9:59:59 PM) Katina-mun: Okay, gamble time - dragging someone with a gun in close meant Estelle had something up her sleeve, and she was pulling magic off way faster than usual. Rather than resist the ring, Katina let it pull her, running with it and throwing herself at Estelle with a solid-steel gun butt aimed right for her jaw.
(10:02:05 PM) Estelle-mun: CLANG. Estelle threw up her shield and from behind it, giggled. "Hi dear." There was a tangible energy in the air as Estelle peeked out from behind the shield and uttered, "Overdrive. Four."
(10:17:38 PM) Katina-mun: "Shit." Overdrive already. This was about all Katina could manage before the shockwave of it activating flung her through the air away from Estelle. She tucked her body up, holding her gun so she could roll with the landing, letting the sand absorb the impact... but if Estelle had been told to go for the kill she'd be torn to pieces now. Shitshitshit.
(10:18:39 PM) Evangeline-Mun: At this point, you hear an echoing voice. "In the name of Evangeline A.K. McDowell, you, Estellise Heurassein, are released from service. You will be returned to my apartments in fourty-five minutes."
(10:21:07 PM) Katina-mun: Whump. That was a nice onomatopoeia for the sound of Katina slamming into the beach, only barely managing to hear the voice over the sound of her own impact.
(10:22:39 PM) Estelle-mun: And just in time too as the light came back into her eyes as the last syllable of her spell ripped off. "GRAND CHA... wait... why am I overlimited and about to blast something?" echoed her voice in the timber associated with an Overlimit. "Katina? Where am I?"
(10:24:09 PM) Katina-mun: Oh god she was about to... that would've hurt. Katina ignored the fact that she'd had the wind knocked out of her by her flight, and leapt to her feet, dropping the gun and running to Estelle. "Es... Estelle... you alright?!"

The last few days have been a blur of something," groaned Estelle as she dropped her sword and shield, holding her head as the flicker of her Overlimit died out, the enormous chi energy she was putting out fading. "Katina... was I about to... blast you with a Grand Chariot?"
(10:26:48 PM) Evangeline-Mun: As time passes, more of what went on becomes clear in Estelle's head. Fortunately, she's also pretty sure Rita was just released...
(10:27:14 PM) Katina-mun: Katina shook her head, ignoring a tingling... oh hey, her arm's a little burnt from one of those Holy Lances earlier. She ignored that, her hands on Estelle's shoulders. "Don't worry about that, I'm just... glad you're alright..."
(10:28:50 PM) Estelle-mun: "But...!" stammered Estelle and then she gasped. "You're hurt!" She held up her hands and healing magic poured forth. Boom di ya da. "I did this... I'm sorry Katina I just... had no.. control..." Tears formed in her eyes.
(10:32:17 PM) Katina-mun: Katina wrapped her arms around Estelle not caring at all about getting healed right now. "Shhh... it's alright... there's nothing you could have done about it, and the... the..." no cursing right now. "That vampire's being taken care of, so everything's fine..."
(10:33:19 PM) Estelle-mun: "Katina..." Estelle's lower lip wibbled and she lunged forward, kissing her soundly, hungrily for a long moment. "Take me away, love... I need you..." Her eyes were big, and full of pain as she wanted her lover as much as possible. "Please?"
(10:37:34 PM) Katina-mun: Well that didn't take long. Katina kissed her back, wanting nothing more than to get her somewhere safe as soon as possible. That painful look was enough for Katina to match it... because why was Estelle the one feeling bad? "Well... I think we have to wait for our timer to run out here, but we'll go wherever you want the moment we get out." Evangeline could wait until Estelle was definitely doing fine.
