I personally don't think the ENTIRE thing is all dream simply because the narrative doesn't totally work if it's supposed to be completely in Cobb's head. And as far as Fischer dying and kicking them into limbo--the dream was actually Eames' dream, not Fischer's. They were just in Fischer's subconscious, which I've FINALLY figured out is something totally different (lol only took me three viewings! /o\). So they wouldn't all be kicked into limbo, because Eames didn't die. Does that make sense? The dream world is contingent on the dreamer, not the person's subconscious.
Look at me, being all thinky. I'm going to go back to reading moar porn. :DDDD
Aahhh, see, I didn't catch that. I forgot they used different people to get down through the layers. Now that I have slept on it, I like the idea of the whole thing having really happened, but the end being Cobb finally able to dream again--on his own, no machines, and he gets to see his kids.
I am usually that girl. It is really good, so if you get a chance, definitely go see it. I am not quite so fannishly invested as the rest of my flist seems to be, but I have only ever been able to be really fannish about boys in bands.
