This is one of those things I had never looked into, so let me do so now. "The word burrito means "little donkey" in Spanish, coming from burro, which means "donkey". The name burrito possibly derives from the appearance of a rolled up wheat tortilla, which vaguely resembles the ear of its namesake animal, or from bedrolls and packs that donkeys carried."
"Vaguely" is right :(
Google translate agrees that "mas" is "more", so I've learnt two new things today.
"burrito" means "little donkey" but it also means the ... sandwich type .... thing made from tortillas stuffed with filling (which can be hot or cold, I'm told by my Mexican-American friend).
In this case "mas" would probably mean "lots" as opposed to "more".
Disclaimer - I don't speak Spanish. Hubby is learning Spanish, whereas I have a little French and even littler Italian - but dico linguam latinam, from which all three languages have their roots.
