Where can I get hooked up with some decent hair gel in this piece? I tried to visualize 'hair gel' and I ended up with something really sticky and so not going in my hair. I think my power is out of tune here. Or my ignorance of the area is working against conjuring simple things. It used to be so easy...

Do you have to get hair gel?

Do you have to ask?

Magic can't make everything happen, even if it does facilitate matters. This [elaborate gesture to his hair] doesn't happen at a snap. It takes some effort. And hair gel.

I didn't mean that. I meant do you have to do your hair like that?

It looks nicer down.

Excuse me? Is there something wrong with the reception on this piece? [Flicks his nail against the screen in jest].

You don't appreciate the effort that goes into this artistry?

Slightly gooey substance meant to be applied to hair, for the purpose of altering its natural shape, or smoothing it out. In my case, it's an aid to defy gravity and keep the strands together. Works like a charm, every time. Provided I can get my hands on some.

Why would you want to put something like that in your hair~?!

Because hair isn't innately gifted with the ability to defy gravity? And even if you could somehow style it in place without gel, it would only take a soft breeze to undo your work and who wants to waste time on that? It's like a house of cards. Tomfoolery.

Isn't it, though? I'm useless without hair gel.

How fortunate that you can seem to get anything in the mall area they have here!

So I heard. I'll have to take full advantage at the earliest opportunity! Hair crisis can't wait.

I encountered something like that when first attempting conjuration as well. It shouldn't be permanent - all it took for me was time to get accustomed to the flows of magic in this world.

I am starting to gain some footing. Slowly. Painstakingly. Getting a little rest helped.

I can imagine.

Ultimately, the only way I found to truly acclimatize was to cast more. Simple practice.

I'm not very patient, when it comes to something I used to be able to do with ease - without thinking. And here, I can only hope, and try. "Try" isn't even a word I'm accustomed to using! Or needing. But I am making some headway.
