1. Total Number of Books I Own: oh, i have no idea. i mean, i have the complete nancy drew collection. i have all the anne of green gables books. i have all of the little house on the prarie books. i have every donna parker book. i have about 15 books of arthurian legends. i have god knows how many art books. let's just say "a lot."

2. Last book I bought: probably lolita though i just checked out from the library th following: the book of laughter and forgetting by milan kundera, cat's cradle by vonnegut, east of eden and the acts of king arthur and his noble knights by steinbeck, animal farm by orwell and mandy and the silent catacombs but some person i forget.

3. Last book(s) I read: i just finished cat's cradle. it was good. i enjoyed it. i actually finished it. i don't think i'll read it again. vonnegut's good, but not that good. my dad asked what is was about, and holycrap how do you explain what vonnegut's books are about?

4. 5 Books that mean a lot to me:
-the bell jar by sylvia plath - i don't really need to explain this, i think. it knocked me out. i'm afraid to reread it because of what it might do.

-watership down by richard adams - more people need to read this book. just pick it up and read it, don't think about what you're starting. it's phenomenal. i hardly ever reread books, but i've reread this book several times.

-ishmael by daniel quinn - my highschool was the only school in the state that taught ishmael even though quinn went to creighton prep high in omaha. this book really got me thinking about a lot of things. it's the only reading material i've ever given my dad because he doesn't read. when i gave it to him, he teared up.

-wuthering heights by emily bronte - my sixth grade teacher handed me this. i haven't read it since, so i don't remember it too well, but it got me started on my quest to read every single "classic." i still have a ways to go, but i remember feeling so proud of myself when i was reading such a big noteworthy book for our book report and everyone else was reading stuff like the bridge to terabithia. not that there is anything wrong with terabithia.

-the singing stone by o.r. melling. this book.. i don't know. i got it when i lived in canada. i've read it at least 20 times. it's a young adult type novel about a girl that is transported back in time in ireland. somehow, i identified with the story completely. i've always had some strange attachment to this book, it's on my bedside table in athens. i take it everywhere. the symbol that marks the start of every chapter is the triskele, and if i ever get a tattoo, that's what i'd get. partly because of this book. something about the story has stuck with me through all these years.

lastly,

anxiety. munch.

p.s. i'm pretty sure my phone has kicked the bucket quite suddenly, so if you need to talk to me, leave me an instant message. xcashxmoneyxhosx
