Teaching the choir?

So I've taught mostly high school and college students (I've also taught little kids but that was mainly as skills course where I was explicitly told to not "be political") Anyway, as I'm sure it is with many teachers, I've learned a lot from my students. I'm sorry if this is an inappropriate way of reaching you, but I wanted to express my interest in joining ap_racism.

I'd define racism as structural inequity predicated along socially constructed lines of race. It can also refer to personal bigotry where such bigotries are amplified by the structural inequities referred to above.

I'm interested in discussing racism, with particular focus on interpersonal strategies and racism in the media.

I'm writing in hope that, even if I have commented here in error, that you might guide me as to the correct way to proceed in seeking ap_racism membership.
