This is TOTAL BS...I can name a whole slew of gay men that I know who don't have older brothers...many of whom are only children....what is the point in publishing stupid studies like this??? I mean really....

they released that study awhile back... i remember stephen colbert mocking it.

it's one of those correlation doesn't equal causation things, i think... obviously there are plenty of gay men who don't fit that profile. :)

I know the statistics about correlation and causation, but I can think of about 10 flaws in this study....not the least of which is, what about all the guys with older brothers who AREN'T gay...I think there are more of them....anyway, I just think the study is stupid

i'd be curious how the study was actually done... did they set out looking for gay men and discover lots of them had brothers? or did they just happen upon that info? i'm sure the study's flawed; most of them are... and of course there are going to be more guys with older brothers who aren't gay; only 10% or so are to begin with :)
