Best Trait: Intelligence. I learn things quickly and readily retain that knowledge. I am always open to learning new things. I use my brains to get myself out of sticky situations rather than relying on luck or daring. I am also very comfortable speaking in large groups of people. I love sharing my knowledge with others. I have given speeches and seminars in from of up to 2000 people. Even though it scares the crap out of me to be in front of so many people, I get a thrill out of being able to share my knowledge with so many people.
Worst Trait: I care too much about what people think of me. I worry about how people perceive me and I worry that I might make a bad impression. I have problems with my self-confidence. Inside, I am not always as confident as I look on the outside. When I was a child, I was terribly shy and this still affects me today. I am sometimes hesitant when it comes to new experiences.

1) Bravery - I had a hard time choosing between bravery and cleverness for the #1 spot. I mainly chose bravery to make up for the courage I sometimes lack in real life.

Choose one of the following -- Air, Water, Earth. I don't know, all of them have their good traits. I think I would say air. It is so refreshing and clean. When it is confined, it can get stuffy and stale. When confined, I get kind of dead too.
Warm or cool? Definitely cool. You can always put on more clothes, wrap yourself in a blanket or start a fire. When its hot, its just hot. Besides, I love that crisp feeling in the air when it's cool out.
Morning or evening? Evening, definitely. I am one of those people that would much rather stay at work late than go in early. I usually don't fully wake up until lunch time and I reach my peak right after suppertime.
Do you like to have people around you, or are you more of a loner? As an only child, I definitely cherish my alone time and am very comfortable being by myself. That being said, I also like being around people at times, especially my family and close friends.
Are you more outgoing or shy? Do you think this would change when you are in your animagus form?I would say that I am half and half. I know that this sounds weird, just hear me out. I used to be terribly, horribly shy when I was younger. I became more outgoing in high school when I was involved in drama, music and the speech team. I still have my moments, where I can be shy. This is usually when I am in a strange or new situation. I think I would be more confident in my animagus form because nobody would know it was me.
Please give an accurate description of your appearance; pictures are welcome! I am 5'7" tall. I have a hard time describing myself, so here is a picture. My hair is usually a bit longer than in this picture. I wasn't sure I liked it this short, but now I think I like it this way. As for clothing, I like to wear both bright colors and earth tones, it just depends on my mood. I hate wearing shoes. I usually walk around barefoot when I’m outside at my parent's house or cabin. I love it in the winter when I can wear my warm and comfy sweatshirts and flannel pajama pants.
What are your favorite hobbies and extracurricular activities?I love to read and write (though I don't write nearly as much as I wish I did). Music is my second passion. I love to sing. I am always singing along to whatever is playing on the radio, even if I don't necessarily know the lyrics. : ) I play the clarinet, flute and piano. I also like making graphics. Some of my favorite memories include camping, biking, hunting and fishing with my family.
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or have a connection with? I have always been a cat person. They are so graceful and sleek, and also quite intelligent. They can be lazy at times, like me. I also love deer, especially white-tail deer. There are a ton of them in the woods around my parents house and their cabin as well. They are so peaceful and graceful. They are solitary, but can also be found in larger groups.
Are there any animals you are afraid of? I don't know if there are any animals that I necessarily fear. I would rather say that I respect them (though probably wouldn't say that if I was face-to-face with an angry mama bear protecting her cubs). I really hate bugs (especially roaches) but I'm not scared of them, they're just really gross.
How would you use your animagus form? Why? I would use it to go places I normally wouldn't be able to go. It would be a way to see the world from a different perspective.
Why would you like to be an animagus? It's a way to get away from the craziness of everyday life. It would be amazing to be so free from society and civilization.

Best Trait: My compassion and care that I have for other people. I hate to do things which would hurt people, and I always try to make everyone happy. And I am highly protective of my closest friends.
Worst Trait: The fact that I am very introverted. It makes it really hard to function sometimes in social situations, and I'm just very drawn into myself. Also that I get angry very easily.

What would you want your animal form to be most capable of? I'd like my animagus to be unrestricted in their mode of transportation. Just to be able to get up at any moment, and from anywhere be able to take off and get away. I wouldn't want to ever be stuck in a situation where I was uncomfortable or a place where I just didn't want to be. Also, I'd like this because I love to travel and see as many sights as possible. Being able to travel quickly and unrestricted would highly help me to achieve this.
Choose one of the following -- Air, Water, Earth. This is a very difficult choice between water and air. I love things that swim and fly, because they have so much freedom. But I'm probably going to have to go with air because it seems a bit more practical where animagi are concerned.

Do you like to have people around you, or are you more of a loner? It really depends on who it is and what kind of mood I am in. I usually loooove to have people around me if they are friends that I want to be around at that particular moment. I'm usually very happy when I am hanging out with good friends, so I usually try to keep them close. But there are also times when I really enjoy being by myself, such as when I am sitting out side reading. It just varies from day to day.
Are you more outgoing or shy? Do you think this would change when you are in your animagus form? Oh, I'm very shy, but I'm trying my best to change that now that I am in college. I'm fairly certain that my animagus would be really shy as well. I don't think it would make sense if it wasn't. It just wouldn't seem characteristic.

What are your favorite hobbies and extracurricular activities? I am a thespian, so all things theatre. Tap dancing, singing, drawing, listening to music of course (not the radio, but my own stuff), trying to fit in with everyone is something I am usually always doing, ha! Um, I love being outside, especially on beautiful autumn days like today...oh It's so wonderful out. I love nature and animals. I like reading, photoshopping, (despite the fact that I'm not that great at it), working on my art projects for school. Um...that's all I can really think of at the moment.
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or have a connection with? Hmm...Well, always birds of course. I am so jealous of their ability to fly, and most of them are so beautiful. But other than that, I probably feel attracted to animals such as cats and foxes, because they are shy and secretive, kinda like me. They can get in and out of places without being seen.
Are there any animals you are afraid of? Insects. Anything that bites or stings like some reptiles do.
How would you use your animagus form? Why? Probably mostly for travel. Like I've said before, I like being able to move around quickly and see all that there is to see.
Why would you like to be an animagus? Because it is such an honor and a privilege to be able to transform at will. You have the option of keeping it a secret, or telling everyone you know. It is something to be admired, and cherished. I want to be an animagus so I have the freedom to do anything and go anywhere. I hate feeling trapped or tied down. There have been so many moments where I've just wanted to get away, but was unable to. Transforming into an animal, you completely leave your old, complicated world and enter a new one, where there are almost no troubles to worry about. I crave that.

Best Trait: Passionate: I throw myself into everything with my whole heart, body, and mind. There are so many interesting things to learn and do and I'm just rarely ever bored.
Worst Trait: Demanding/Perfectionist: I expect a lot of myself, too much, really, and sometimes (and especially when coupled with procrastination) I become paralyzed and unable to move forward. This has caused me a lot of problems in the past.

What would you want your animal form to be most capable of? Stealth. I love the idea of being able to obtain information without anyone realizing what I am doing. Not only would it be fun and educational, but it would also be useful and a great way to contribute to the cause of my choice.
Choose one of the following -- Air, Water, Earth Air. Here's the deal - I'm astrologically 90% earth and water. That mixture makes mud. Mud is heavy and thick and binding. I'd like a little less restriction and weight in my life and I would imagine that flight would help fulfill that need.
Warm or cool? Cool. I spent 22 years living in Miami, FL. I'm pale. While I understand we need the sun in order to survive; I'm just not a big fan. I'm the person that has the window cracked when it is 20 degrees outside and has the air lowered to 70 in the summer. I like fall and winter; crisp days, clear nights, and lots of snow.
Morning or evening? Evening. I've never been a morning person. Even as an elementary school child I'd sit in my closet with the light on reading or doing homework into the wee hours of the evening. I'm more alert and on top of things once that pesky sun goes down for the evening.
Do you like to have people around you or are you more of a loner? Loner. I err on the side of misanthropy, unless I know you. I'm not a huge fan of many people - perhaps I've been hurt too often or maybe it's just my nature. I'll never know. I desire time alone constantly and sometimes I never feel like I will get enough. I'm lucky in that most of the friends I've made over the years are understanding of this and know that when I disappear for a month or more that it isn't personal, just necessary.
Are you more outgoing or shy? Do you think this would change when you are in your animagus form? Shy. I don't think that it would change, but it would be nice if it did. I'd like to be able to let loose and not feel constrained by any kind of social phobia once in a while. Perhaps a nice "come as your animagus" party? That would be fun and probably less overwhelming to me. Yes, I'd still be shy. Fine.
Please give an accurate description of your appearance; pictures are welcome! I don't have any easily accessible recently taken pictures, but I haven't changed much in the past ten years. Well, I am heavier, but my face is still pretty much the same. I have green (you can't tell this in either picture, of course) eyes that turn gray when I'm wearing grays and bluish when I'm wearing blues. My hair is long, but not particularly full and it has been dyed red since I was 19. I have freckles, lots of them. I'm 5'6", much heavier than I would like to be, but curvy, also. I wear glasses both because I love them and I can't get contacts in my eyes. That's about all the excitement there. Really, just think a taller Molly Weasley. :)

What are your favorite hobbies and extracurricular activities? Right now HiH would top the list, but when I'm not obsessing about this site, I like to read, watch tv, knit, and listen to music (something I don't do enough of, sadly). I usually prefer solitary activities to group activities, especially is the "group" is more than 3 people.
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or a connection with? Dogs, polar bears, cats. Like dogs I'm fiercely loyal to whoever befriends me, and while it may not seem like it, I do have quite the bite. Polar bears are just so fierce and yet cool and cuddly looking at the same time. I admire their strength and their beauty. Like cats for the most part I just don't care what people think of me. I'd like to think that people like me, but I'm not especially concerned with currying favor. Oh! And those glow in the dark fish that live at the bottom of the oceans? How cool are they? :)
Are there any animals you are afraid of? No, although there are a couple I'm not fond of like the portugese man-of-war (beautiful, but ouch!), and palmetto bugs (they are roaches. with wings. that work. it just never ends well.).
Why would you like to be an animagus? Well, if I was part of the wizarding world I can't help but think that I'd be able to put my ability to a good use. On a more personal level, I'm really quite a loner. I need my quiet time to myself. With the ability to change into my animal form, I would be more assured of finding that quiet time. Also, I'd like to think that the voice in my head that is constantly chattering at me would be a bit more removed and I'd actually be able to relax into myself.
How would you use your animagus form? Why? Spying would be useful and fun. The idea of being able to go somewhere incognito with no chance of being recognized is amazing. As I said above, I'd also probably use it to get away from everything and everyone in order to relax and wind down.
