Hogsmeade - tell the new kid all about it!

1. What types of shenanigans go on ( Read more... )

First of all, to join in on the Hogsmeade fun, you have to join the community hogsmeadewkends if you haven't done so already. Looking back at past Hogsmeade weekends should help you understand the way it works ( ... )

Thanks Meg! It sounds amazing. I'm already racking my brain to try to figure out a way to sequester myself for three days without my family noticing I'm gone...

Ok, I checked and it looks like I signed up to follow the community but realize I needed to join, so I put in a request and then I'll look at all the previous entries, for sure. Up til now I thought maybe there was nothing to see until the weekend itself.

I have two more questions:
1. "Some people will start with the more difficult or time-consuming activities first so they get those out of way but everyone tackles it differently.

Does this mean that all the activities listed at one time and we can go through and make these decisions ahead of time?

2. Stupid question, but just to make sure: all Hogsmeade activities will be posted in this one community instead of the different sub-communities like usual, yes?

1. When your membership is approved, you can check out schedules from previous Weekends. You'll know ahead of time what the activities are and there will be a spreadsheet that lists the difficulty of those activities. Activities are posted in different time slots so there are about three or four activities posted per slot. So, four posted from Friday at 10pm UTC to Saturday at 3am UTC. Etc. Etc. Usually, the Hogsmeade Mayors will schedule more difficult/time-consuming activities early. All points-earning activities should be posted by 3PM UTC on Sunday ( ... )
