Location: Gryffindor Common Room
Open To: Um. . .EVERYONE (BUT NO SNAKES! you can try, though. owl me. but prob not.) For Lexi's birthday!! (But Lexi comes in after we're all hidden!) JUMP IN!!
Currently Involving: Avis. And anyone else who wants to comment and be there to get ready.
(OOC: I'm gonna get in trouble for this mess of a post. Inform me how posting order works or whatever. But hey, it is a party.)
"It's not just a party. This is a par-TAY," Avis announced and took a look around the Gryffindor Common Room. The couches were pushed to the end of the room. A table was piled high with mountains and mountains of candy, and they hadn't even sent the first years for food yet. Blaze's phonograph and transfigured CDs were ready to go. There were jack o' lanterns hovering above, and fake cobwebs and skeletons. It reminded Avis of her old muggle Halloweens back in Glasgow, which made her a bit sad, but then the prospect of another Gryff common room party cheered her up.
Avis clapped her hands and took one last look in the mirror. She adjusted her bedsheet toga and placed the fake snake coming out of one side. Her scarf was thrown around her head with an old gold necklace laced around the top, and her favorite part was the Egyptian eye makeup, black as coal. She didn't even look like herself, which she very much liked.
She ran through the list in her head. Everything seemed to be right. Now everyone else had to arrive, and then that Puff fellow of Lexi's had to bring her over. . . It all seemed to be falling into place.
"Okay," she said aloud. "OKAY!" she screamed in the middle of the common room. "EVERYONE!" with her shrill loud voice. "LET'S LOCK AND LOAD! WE'VE ONLY GOT A LITTLE WHILE TO GO!"
She stood arms akimbo. Yup. This was going to be one good party. . .hopefully.
