The weather was nice and cool, no snow, no rain. Perfect in Jackie's eyes, especially for a Wednesday in November. After flying around the lake for a few hours and wandering around the castle grounds, she decided to take a break and relax. Yesterday's tragedies still loomed in her mind, but she wasn't sure how to handle it. She didn't know the victims, but to face the war so close to home was unsettling. She feared students would be pulled from Hogwarts by their parents because of it, and she knew her dad would want to do the same. But if she argued with her dad, telling him that she was safer there - with Charlie, and Kaleb, and her other friends - than she would be at home, he would have to agree. She sighed, and sat down on the lawn facing the lake. Soren should start the DA soon, especially after all of this. They needed to get ready.
