Juhi was much less tired than the average Wednesday evening found her; Emmy was safely returned, Bean had been exceptionally cute during the break before dinner, and apparently she was going on some sort of adventure with Erik. Of course, Juhi didn't know what it WAS yet, because that was how Erik worked, but that didn't mean she wasn't excited. And not nervous. Not at all. She was used to him and his adventures, right? Right.
She'd eaten dinner fairly quickly, and now sat on the stairs outside the Great Hall. Juhi had considered pacing, but decided that that would look nervous (thus delivering the wrong impression), and she figured Erik would be out shortly. Still, no reason to not get comfy. She pulled up her knees and adjusted her robe around her carefully, then took out the book she'd brought along. Juhi was rather proud of the fact it was not about Quidditch or any of her classes; Jaci had loaned her Anne of Green Gables, and though parts of it left her slightly confused, she could definitely tell it was an excellent book, and had been enjoying it immensely.
It was harder now to get involved, though, and so she gave it up as a bad job. Perhaps she would take a page from Anne's book (hee!) and try imagining to pass the time. She tried to do something about India, but ended up just thinking about her cousin and memories from visiting. Like Mason on the elephant!
