Humming to herself, Ainsleigh was on her way to the Owlery. She wanted to post a letter home and had decided that now was a good time. Her little brother had just passed his first swimming test and she wanted to congratulate him. Plus, she knew Cameron always got a kick out of getting a letter delivered by an owl. Suddenly, Ainsleigh found herself missing her little brother and sister. Her parents too and as her head filled with thoughts of home, she tripped.
Sprawled out in the middle of the corrdior, she sighed and sat up, the contents of her bag surrounding her on the floor. "Great," she muttered, starting to gather them up. But where was her letter? Looking around, she couldn't see it. It can't have gone far...it's a small corridor. Getting to her feet, she hoisted her bag back onto her shoulder. She could hear someone coming. Maybe they'll be able to help her find her letter.
