Audrey had promptly made her way to the Great Hall that Monday evening, filling her plate with the essentials that would give the most nutrition to her body. She wasn't very hungry for some reason, and she rarely ate a lot in the first place, so it was no wonder that she was finished before most of the other students. There really was no point for her to stick around, once she had cleaned up her plate. Preston was talking with their fellow Slytherins about who knows what(as if she were paying attention!!), and as much as she may have wanted to be social... she just wasn't in the mood.
So, saying goodbye to her dearest of fiancés, giving the excuse of a headache or other such nonsense, she gave her leave and started walking toward the exit. Audrey didn't have any plans as to what she would do or where she would go, but for some reason, being in the huge room with all the loud, obnoxious students was starting to bother her. Perhaps she really was getting a headache!
In any case, solitude sounded pleasant. Maybe she would grab her painting supplies and--
No. The last time that had happened, she'd had an unusual encounter with Dex Thrillkill. Didn't want to risk that again. So for now, she decided to head toward the common room and see if she was hit with any type of inspiration on what to do next.
