Week Name/Date/Time: 'Yuletide Joy' / Monday, December 12th 2005 / 7:26 PM
Location: Hufflepuff Common Room
Open To: Deirdre
Currently Involving: Sean

One of the many, many nice things about the holidays was that the closer they got to their winter break, the less schoolwork there seemed to be. With a few notable exceptions, of course, because some teachers happened to be unmitigated jackasses -- er, misunderstood.

But for the most part, a dwindling amount of homework. And although Sean did not like homework, it seemed to be a constant presence in his life, and he was entirely BORED without it.

Yes, BORED. But, our setting being the Hufflepuff Common Room, our hero (Sean Brightwell, Jr.) felt it important to point out that in such a setting, it was very difficult to be bored for very long. After all, the Hufflepuff Common Room was generally filled with Hufflepuffs. Hufflepuffs, being Hufflepuffs, were generally fun.

BUT! Who to bother?

Actually, a very simple question to answer. Deirdre probably thought she was being very unassuming, sitting at a table, possibly doing something important. So she thought. But what was unassuming to other people was, to Sean, a cry for attention. A subtle and invisible-to-the-naked-eye way of saying 'Sean, come over here and bother me!'

Well, being of the gentlemanly sort, he would (of course) oblige.

"I'm here!" was his greeting as he plopped down in the seat across from Deirdre. "I'm here, come t' bother ye."

Grin. Griiiiin.
