Week Name/Date/Time: 'A Meeting of the Minds' / Tuesday, September 27th, 2005/ 6:45
Location: Library
Open To: Sebby and Juhi
Currently Involving: Saffy
Without a note from a teacher, she couldn't possibly get a book out of the restricted section. Saffron had reason to believe that Madam Pince wouldn't have let her get a book out of there even if she did. Every book she had looked through so far, however, did not contain what she was looking for. Was there now way to add more spring to her bed? Saffy knew it was probably right under nose: a spell she had learned ages ago.
She pushed a rather thick book back onto the shelf and yanked out three more smaller ones. She averted the looks of students who had clearly wanted to take out those books also. Saffron plopped them down on the table, flipped to the appropriate section, and skimmed quite thoroughly. She had a quill and parchment out, jotting down anything that might be useful later: there was only one line of notes on her paper. "I don't believe that I can't find a spell that will fluff my bed, and let me unfluff it later." Saffy went to - loudly - shut her book, but a glare from Madam Pince made her shut it ever so quietly and open another book soundlessly. "There is hardly anyone in here," she muttered savagely to herself. She looked around, realizing that everyone else seemed to be at dinner. A few green beans and a slice of ham was good enough for her; she could just imagine the other students filling up on biscuits and still stuffing down a leg of chicken. "If I ate like that I'd get so fat people would think someone hexed me." Saffron ignored the 'SHHH' sent her way, and scribbled down another bit. "Probably fall of my broom and break something, I'd imagine."
When she finally looked at her watch, she realized it was 6:45. Her parchment was still rather empty, but she had gone through, by now, seven or eight books. It was time for a break. There was a book, at the very back of the library she had noticed before. It was about transfiguration, covered in purple velvet, and was very out of place. Saffron nearly ran to get it. The title offered only vague clues to it's contents. Transfiguration. She flipped it open on her desk, starting on page one, and tried to read. Unfortunately, she was restless and couldn't concentrate or comprehend.
