Rylie was always one to question things, and boredom was not an exception. In her mind, Rylie truly believed that boredom came from being lazy, and it was only a matter of time before she realized just what it was she was procrastinating or refusing to do. She stared at her journal on the table in front of her. There was one thing she had yet to do. She hadn't started working on a plot for her next story, but suddenly it didn't seem to interest her as much as before.
She curled her feet up underneath her on the couch in the common room and stared blankly at the floor. It was possible she could write a letter home, or search for a fellow seventh year. Or maybe she could go flying, even though it wasn't her favourite hobby.
Her muggle novel was screaming her name, but she was trying to fight that addiction. She couldn't read all the time just because she was a Ravenclaw. Surely, Ravenclaws had lives as well?
