Liesl sat on a black sofa reading the contents of her latest owl from home. Don't misunderstand, it's not like it came from her dead parents or anything -- the caretaker of the estate and her current benefactor Seidensticker sent it. There was no letter, only a copy of the Sonntag der Pelican, or the Sunday Pelican, a German newspaper.
An article concerning the progress of the investigation of her parents' deaths was circled in thick red ink. So apparently the police knew it wasn't an accident now. Thrilling. Oh, how the owls would start now. Liesl hated reporters. As if she hadn't enough of them for ONE DAY what with that horrid Skeeter woman flashing Lucius Malfoy around this morning. That had been a rather difficult fiasco to avoid. It seemed like they were everywhere, along with their fangirls. And fanboys, for that matter. Liesl snorted aloud.
The excited chittering of her Housemates hadn't stopped all day.
