If Sophie didn't get the promotion at the ministry, a real job, she was going to die. That's what she had told herself, anyway, and then today happened. She'd been called in to speak with the head of her department. She'd been told she was the best intern, and what did she get to show for it? NOTHING. They felt she was still too young.
Well, perhaps it was an unusual twist of fate. This meant she was going to have to keep her job at Honeydukes. Keeping her in Hogsmeade. Yes, she could think of a very good reason to remain there. And so, instead of sulking, she bounced her way down Diagon Alley, smiling as she reached the end and entered The Leaky Cauldron.
"WHERE'S MY EDDIE!?" Sophie's voice rang out across the room. The strangers could stare at her all they pleased. Sophie felt at ease here, always visiting Eddie at work. And the regulars? They ignored her at this point. The regulars were not a fan of bouncy. It was a good thing Eddie approved of such antics.
"Eddie my love! Firewhiskey for your Sophie!" she said happily as she joined him at the bar, tugging on her scarf and flashing a goofy grin.
