Lissianna walked down the stairs, still a little nerve wrecked from last night. However, her brother and cousin had handled it beautifully, she couldn't of been more pleased if she herself had been talking the mark.
She was surprised, however, to see her brother already downstairs. Hell, he deserved to be sleeping in, after all the crap that he went through, but that wasn't the way of Etienne.
She into the room and kissed her brother on the forehead. "Hey." She smiled.
"I'm bored, I wish Bastien and Lucern would come home." She grumbled. "Do you think that...they were there last night? Just...not hexing?"
The thing that Lissianna did not know that Bastien and Lucern had apparated into their seperate rooms early that morning, as not to wake anyone in the house. They also had not been at the initiation at all, which was probably for the best. Lucern and Bastien had been sent on a different assignment for the Dark Lord. As usual though, if asked, Lucern would not tell what happened. Business was business and that was to be kept outside of family discussion, from his point of view anyway.
After dressing for the morning, minus his shoes and socks, Lucern slipped downstairs quietly to see who was up and about, as there usually was someone. Hearing a young female voice, that he realized belonged to his sister, Lucern came into the room and caught Etienne's gaze. He pressed a finger to his lips with a smirk as he went on his tip toes up behind Lissianna. Crouching down and wrapping his arms around her legs, he picked her up into his shoulder and stood straight up, boosting her into the air.
Lissianna let out a startled shriek when she was suddenly hoisted into the air, prepared to look down and bash whoever dared do that to her, when her eyes set upon her eldest brother, Lucern. She had not seen him since Christmas!
Her outrage faded instantly, and delight filled it's place as she leaned down to kiss the top of his head.
"Lucern, you devil! you scared me half to death! Oh but it is good to see you love. When did you get in?"
After Lissianna had her moment of surprise and thrill, Lucern placed her back on the ground in front of him.
"Bastien and I apparated in this morning," he worded calmly with a small grin on his lips. "We did not want to wake anyone so we only went to our rooms." Lucern gave his little sister a kiss on the forehead then short though tight hug, before turning to Etienne on the couch.
He strode towards him and held out his arm, snapping a bit with his fingers at him, "Give us your arm. Let me see it. I heard about the initiation." Lucern did not mean to be so demanding in this moment, but he wanted to see it. He wanted to be proud of his youngest brother, not as if was not already.
