Ah, well, first you have to consider if the person went through the 7th Grade in elementary school (some schools only have it until the 6th). So, if you took Grade 7 and are about to enter college, you'd be around 18 years old. It's pretty much the average age. But there are a lot of people who enter college at 17 or even 16 years old since they didn't have Grade 7.

Your subject line made me miss CSA. High school in particular, when the whole building would immediately know if classes had been suspended not because of the PA system, but because you could hear cheers and yells of "WALANG PASOOOOOK" echoing through the quadrangle. :)

Hehe, actually, any cry of "Walang pasok!" is enough to bring me memories of CSA, grade school and high school.
