Good luck with the training. Don't beat yourself up over the smoking thing, I know just where you are. It will come in time. Hope the training goes well.

Thanks fingers crossed it wont be as bad as I am now thinking it might be. I really wish I hadnt started smoking it was pretty daft and its soo expensive, when I do quit im going to save the money I would have spent and put it towards something good maybe a holiday or a new wardrobe. That would be a great incentive I think, sunny beach here I come.

Why not get the parents to pick you up some trainers when they're in the States? Be much cheaper that way :) I've got the ones I bought out there that are designed for walking if you want to borrow them in the meantime - I never wear the bloody things, they're purely there to trip Chris up when he gets out of bed in the middle of the night :)

I thought of that but I need them asap so that I can start training, one of the training schedules they recommend starts 6 weeks before, but knowing how unfit I am I want to start as soon as I can to give me a chance of completing it. You going to come and watch or join in ?????

Wow well I have just dusted of the excersise bike, and removed the items of clothing off of it, it makes a great place to dry shirts.

I have just burned off 22 calories, cycled 1 kilometre and my pulse went from 70 to 142. I will do the same again later and then build up over the coming weeks. I had it in my mind to do a kilometre and it seemed to last for ever, but im sure it will get easier.
Now where did I put that chocolate I have 22 calories to put back on.
