You should write one. An ex of mine had the idea to write a letter to yourself 10 years ago. I really enjoyed it.

you are amazing. that if anything should be the main thing the younger rob gets out of this. you've gone through tons of shit, and still come out ahead.

you're smart and eloquent, yet you still are very much like the child you are writing to. needy, scared, and yet still curious. and at times, selfish.

see all that stuff is ok, though. i just think somewhere along the line you had this 'ideal life' planned in your head.. and whether or not is was your own idea or someone beat it into you, most of the time life is not ideal.

you have all the tools in front of your to forge your own path... make it yours, and not what you think others want.
