I just finished teaching my class about 3D shapes a few weeks ago. We practiced cutting out paper and constructing 3D cubes, pyramids, etc. I just picked up some fancy paper from the art supply store, cut out a flat cube, and sewed it together with some kabob skewers. I also slapped in a lightbulb from home depot: I used a clear white CFL.

is the light it gives off green or white? I really like colored light so I might have to build one of these.

The bulb is white, but the light ends up being a blue/green colour. If the paper/fabric you use is too thin than it will end up being white, you'd have ot double up your paper. It makes my room feel like an undersea kingdom. There are a lot of Aquaman fantasies being played out these days. By myself.
