I love fennel, too. And kale.

I LOVE kale, and it is one of most nutritious foods there is.

Super healthy and surprisingly tasty smoothie:

One leaf raw kale
One frozen banana
About 3/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
A drizzle of real maple syrup (OR just use the maple cream line yogurt from Trader Joe's. Yum.)

Put it all in a blender and blend until the kale is completely smooth, no little bits of leaf! It is the color of mint ice cream. I eat this all the time.

Yes I had never even heard of Jerusalem artichokes before living in England, rather odd vegetable.

Is this journal as dead as my own?

I have to say that LJ hasn't really made the transition to post-college, working, with live-in partner that I've. I do still log on to steal music though. Does that count as dead?

Maybe? I check my friends page often, but rarely contribute anything new in the journal itself.

It is hard to update now. Only the big things come to mind. Otherwise I'm unsure who my audience is and what it is I actually want to say. LJ was great when I was a 17 year old interested in my own thoughts and with a lot of time on my hand. Things seem to be different now.
