I'm not to sure what to say to be honest. I want to say that maybe you just need some more time to be upset before you can start feeling happy again. I mean, hopefully you don't stay like this to long because I don't like the fact that you're feeling sad and lonely. I hope you start feeling better soon bb <3.

I just feel like I've been really sad longer than I actually need to be. Usually I'm feeling a bit better by now, but I'm not.

And I'm still really cut up about this person. ;-;

If they meant a lot to you then I think it's okay to still be sad. It'll take time to get better and it's not going to happen as soon as you want it to. But it'll happen eventually. Maybe you just need to look for things that distract you and bring out positive emotions and you'll gradually start to feel better.

Or you could try channeling your inner Rock Lee. I don't know how well that would work though since I've never personally tried it.
