ALL OVER THE PLACE!
I have been one busy mofo, with no disrespect to my mom. I should start from the beginning, and when I reach the end... I should stop.
(Friday) My freedom commenced at about 7PM, two hours longer than was necessary because my bitch boss wanted two trucks thrown before break (against my work ethic). I was itching to go do something, and since it turned out that Ryan, Dee and Stephanie had apparently not quit/got fired, I invited them all to go with me to Jack in the Box for lunch. It was sweeeet. I love this new found glory of being a commercial whore again. HAHAHAHA. Yeah, well, the fast food gave me an upset stomach. Turns out its not wise for me to eat grease. Who knew? After work, my new best friend Troy (a different one than before) invited me to come with him to Denny's to hang out with some other Wal-Mart friends. If you did not catch the irony of being invited to Denny's, you obviously either did not know me last year, or haven't been reading that carefully. Well, along the way there, I took I-5 and tried desperately to keep up with my friend in his car. At one point, he almost ran me into an accident on the highway, surrounded by cops. Thanks bud. At the Denny's, I did my best to get to know some of the people there, and instead started to become the life of the party. Turns out a lot of people liked my candid personality, my swift remarks and quite possibly my charming handsomeness. Ok, the last one was bs, but still. I had a really good time, and am looking forward to next week's dinner.
(Saturday {Still Friday night}) After dinner, I was invited over to Junior's apartment. Seemed like they were going to get a party going with the twelve people that were still interested. I went over for an hour and a half, but it was kinda weird. I had a great time, but it was ten guys, and two girls. Fortunately (I guess), the more attractive of the two (Lisa) took a real interest in me and we joked around for a while. Too bad she can be a real bitch. Anyways, I got home at 4. It made for some interesting topics of conversation when I got up the next morning.
The next morning... my parents chewed me out for getting back so late. It didn't matter, they knew why I did it. Because I can. I got up at 11AM, just to show them that I could do that too. This day only saw more work, and less appreciation than the day before it. I went out to lunch again with Troy and Dee to the mall in Alderwood. Man that place has changed! What a difference a year makes. Even Sears is radically different. I saw a few familiar faces there, but no one I really knew. I saw Ethan, a guy who started with me way back when I was 16. He was the one who informed me that Leah had been cheating on me for six months. I owe him one, still, because I don't think I would have been happy with myself if I had continued to get duped. I also talked to a hardware guy who recognized me and was willing to yak it up with me for a while, someone named Kevin. Didn't know him really well, but we compared our stores and how things were going. Sears was dead like usual. From there, it was all work again. Whoop-tee-do. My parents were out of town at least, and I got to stay up watching tv in the lap of luxury when the day was done.
(Sunday) The parents roused me out of bed at 1PM, and I was not expecting them home so early. I had left the tv on overnight, which wasn't that bad, but it made for some interesting dreams (especially when it was CNN and the coverage was mostly of the death of Reagan). Apparently my sister's cat Joey disappeared somewhere, and I heared him meowing at one point, but I have not seen him since. She seems to be taking it a lot better than I would have if it had been Waldo. Its been several days now, and he usually never leaves Jenny alone for more than two days. Ever.
I went to work, and it was boring again. Stephanie and Chris kept me happy though, with their jabs at Dawn. Seems common enemies can make the best of friends out of anyone. It is all that I talk about with Chris, and that kinda bugs me. I'd like to get to know her better, even if she is forty. I had lunch at the panda express across the way and was spilling how it was going to go down with the judge on Monday. Basically the entire crew now knows about my case, except for maybe a couple. It wasn't going to remain a secret forever, but at least everyone understands that I am not a threat to them. Most people kinda shrugged it off. Chris says that the best way to prove my worth is to go back to school, and I agree with her.
After an uneventful last half of work, I came home and passed out from near exhaustion, plus the need to wake up at 7AM the next morning to go see Judge Lasnik. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday would turn out to be totally awesome. Wait and see...
