I somehow knew that you, Kate or Di would be the first to answer that. Have you already seen that "Jack and Jill" thing before somewhere? Anyway, it doesn't matter, you answered first and there will be a prize.

By the way, ever since your entry about ellipses I've noticed them used everywhere (superfluously, of course, because so many kids in AP Lit try to be smart and use as many grammar tools as they can) and I would not have been annoyed with it if it weren't for your little entry. It's all your fault.

I didn't know at first. I thought it was from like, your science textbook or something, and I was about to say something like, "Okay, so it sounds like some people climbed a mountain to get water and somebody fell off." But then I wised up.

i TOTALLY didn't get that it was jack and jill, but i DID understand what it meant. i read all of it and then went to leave a comment and saw thta there were already six, and i KNEW that jackie had commented! i'm glad she did. otherwise i would've made an ass out of myself.
