Day 9 - Saddest Anime Scene

I thought about this one a bit, like with previous days of this meme, and I remembered that the saddest anime scene I have ever seen would (arguably) have to be from Rozen Maiden Traumend.

Oh my gosh, Rozen Maiden. My cousin Kendel and I watched both seasons. I cried a few times. =~_~= I haven't seen Overture yet. I kind of don't want to a bit, because wow this series was depressing.

It was a *fantastic* series, but I agree that it really was quite depressing as a whole. I only watched Rozen Maiden Overture because I felt obligated to be thorough since I loved the series. It *does* add some backstory for Shinku and Suigintou and provides some clarity for some details, but I don't think you're missing much by not watching it.

I haven't finished reading/collecting the manga yet, but I'm hoping for a happier ending than I foresaw at the end of Traumend. >_<;;

Yeah we both loved it even if it was sad. Let me know if the manga has a happy ending - it could seriously use one after all this drama! ^^;

I do remember the end of that series being really sad. I think I need to add the manga of this series to the list of things I should really borrow from you after I finish Magic Knight Rayearth ^_^

It *was* sad, but I haven't finished reading the manga, since I have yet to get the last three volumes, so I can't tell you what I think of the canon storyline just yet.

BUT YOU SHOULD SO BORROW IT! Take your time with Rayearth, but remember that you also should read Card Captor Sakura once that's done~ :D
