As fast as he can, Yuya grabbed the gun away from Kei’s hands when he saw how Kei spaced out from seeing Kota dying helplessly on the floor. He aimed it then directly at Kei’s head to kill the guy but when he saw how Kei reacted afterwards, he changed his mind. He dropped his hand on his side, the one with the pistol, to walk and to speak closely at Kei who went crying like him when he was exactly having that moment from his past. “How does it feel Kei?...” he asked in a mocking tone. “How does it feel?!...” he shouted as he let out all the anger he’d been living with all this time.

“I want to die…” Kei replied with voice too shaky for a heartless killer like him. “I don’t want to live anymore…”

“Exactly…” he said, squatting down to see closely the face of his parent’s murderer. “I had the same thoughts as well at that time but you know what… because of you, I decided to live. I decided to do anything at any cost just to find you and kill you!...”

“Then kill me…” he permitted and Yuya aimed the nozzle straight at his forehead. “Pull the trigger…” he instructed Yuya then to just let it go and let him die since there’s nothing left for him to live, Kota is dead and the little brother he loves will still become a killer just like him in the future but when he saw Daiki fidgeting not far from them, he skillfully took the gun from Yuya’s hand to shot the boy straight to where he first landed his aim, the shoulder.

“Damn you!...” Yuya regretted it. He regretted changing his mind after seeing how Daiki groaned pitifully on the floor. He did try to take the gun back but Kei slapped it straight on his face to dump him straight as well on the floor just next where Daiki is crying for help right now.

“I better kill you both first before killing myself. In that way, everything will be square…”

“Don’t you dare!...” Yuya scurried hurriedly to cover Daiki with his body. He didn’t beg this time, instead, he gave his utmost scary look to apprehend Kei not to continue anymore. But that won’t work with Kei anymore because it will end with all of them dead anyway. However, someone as skillful as Kei had shot the gun away before he could even pull the trigger. Yuya thought it was Ryosuke since only Ryosuke would do such thing to keep him alive but to his surprise it was Daiki’s father, the one who is too weak but surprisingly able to do  such shot with great preciseness.

“Stay away from my son you son of a slut!...” he warned with his nurse cranking the shotgun behind his wheelchair, giving it afterwards on his hands to push his chair closely to where the target is standing right now. “I’ve been searching for you for years and now I’m not gonna hold back…”

“You’re too old to be sure mister…” Kei smug. “I can even kill you with just a finger…”

“Why?...” he asked, aiming the gun directly at the head of the boy to blow it anytime. “Why did you kill my friend and his wife?...”

“Because they’re hiding him…” he said. “They’re hiding Daiki at that time…”

Yuya got bewildered with that. He remembers no Daiki at that time when his father died together with his Mom. All that was there was him. It was him who was hidden by the two and not Daiki. “What are you talking about?...” he asked but he was ignored. He would like to jump in between them to know if what the hell is that talk about but Daiki pulled him back just in time when he was about to stand up. “I need to know. You weren’t there when my father died…”

“It’s not important anymore…” Daiki said, wincing while grabbing his shoulder tight. “We have to go now…”

“So you were aiming at my son at that time…” said by the old man which redirected not only Yuya’s attention this time but also Daiki’s. “You were planning to kill him before he could even know me…”

“I don’t understand…” Yuya muttered. Right now, the talk, the truth, the details, everything of it is all mixed up. Why are they talking that sounds like it was him they were referring about and not Daiki? And why Kei is aware of it but still aiming to kill Daiki? And who the fuck is this old man to say something like that? Is there something about his past that was kept untold until now? What is this all about? “I need an answer! What the hell are you two talking about?!...” he asked and that’s when he was faced by the two.

“The truth that even my genius father didn’t know…” Kei replied and the old man turned a head away from Yuya. “Daiki is not his son, Yuya…” Kei continued and that shamed the old man even more to lower down a head. “Daiki is just a bait…”

“A bait?...” Daiki asked unbelievably with eyes close to tears. “You used me?!...”

“Yeah, he used you and even named you to use you as Yuya’s bulletproof but in the end it’s still the other way around…”

“Shut up…” demanded by the man on the wheelchair.

“Why?...” Kei mocked. “Afraid to be unwanted by your real son this time after being hated by your fake son already and oh!...” he tipped, hinting something he knew all along. “Want to know Yuya why you look exactly like your fake father?...”

“Fuck it off kid…” the old man turns serious this time on aiming the gun on Kei’s head once again. “I’ll be the one telling him that…”

“Then tell him…” he retorted with great concern. “Tell him before its too late…”

“It’s never been too late for me boy because I’ll bring you straight six feet underground right now…”

“Then show me what you got!...” he said and hastily he moved like a snake, making himself look like duplicate by swinging his body left and right and when the old guy starts to blink on where to shot, he grabbed the shot gun to kill the nurse first and then the man he saw standing behind the door and then the one on the window and the one hiding behind the closet until all that was left were him, the old guy, Yuya, Daiki and, “Come out, come out, Ryosuke! I wanted you to be with this herd of fools…” yes, Ryosuke.

“Give it up Kei…” Ryosuke said while walking in with no fear seeing Kei at all. “I had snipers not far from here and---”

“And what? Shoot me in just one snipe? You’re kidding!...” he laughed, “Oh well…” and then he turned serious. “It’s better that way because when I’m finished with all of you, they’re gonna clean me up as well…”

“Why do you have to do this?...” Yuya asked while keeping Daiki safe on his back.

“Because I have someone like him also…” he pointed at Daiki. “Someone as important as him for me…”

“Then why not save that someone and stop all of this at once?...”

“I can’t do that…” he swung his gun at Yuya and the old man turned his wheel to cover the boy. “Pretty much ready old man to meet hell?...” he asked, mocking even though he knew it already that right now he can’t win anymore. If he’ll make one shot to kill one person, he’ll be shot with successive bullets in one row, making it impossible to kill everybody in the room eventually. “So what now?...” he asked everybody. “Want me to start with this old rotting man?...”

“No Kei! No!...” Someone shouted and that turns Kei to look at the door behind Ryosuke’s back. It’s his ever almighty father being dragged inside the room with his mother crying helplessly against Ryosuke’s men. And yes, it is so pathetic seeing the demanding God that Kei had ever followed, shaking with terror and fear right now if all he can see before were wrath and strength that even lions will bow down with their paws shaking on the ground.

“What the hell Dad?~” he whined. “How could you let them capture you?...”

“Stop questioning me you asshole! Do something to save me and your mother!...”

Kei chuckled in the hopelessness he could see in his situation. But better off this way, if his father died then the little brother he loves will be spared from all the cruelty in the world. After all, God must have not forgotten him, maybe this is His way of telling him not to continue anymore and just to end this like this. “It’s no use Dad…” he said, dropping the gun on the floor. “I quit!...”

“Where’s Yuya? Where’s my son?!...” asked by the man while moving around with his wheelchair, checking every person he could see to tell him if where is the boy he wanted to be talked right now.

“He’s gone…” Ryosuke said when the man grabs him to look back.

“What do you mean gone? I still have to talk to him…”

“He takes Daiki away with him right after the medic treated them at the ambulance…”

“Why did you let them go?!...” he angered.

“Because your stupid!...” he said it for the first time. “You know what, I’ve been a very good servant to you until you clouded me with false truth. For God sake! How on earth did you manipulate me?!...”

“I’m sorry but I was just protecting my son…”

“Yes you were but you turn me against you!...”

“That is because I know you will never abandon Yuya no matter what…”

“You know what…” he cued. “If that man is still alive…” he’s referring to Yuya’s father, the fake one. “He could have punched you already not just once but twice…”

“He will never do that…” he assured.

“Why?...” Ryosuke wondered.

“Because his nephew grew to the way he wanted it to be. Yuya grew knowing nothing about guns and killing. My boy lives normally…”

“Nephew?...” Ryosuke scowled. He thought he’d heard the greatest joke in town but when he saw how serious the man is, “Are you telling me that his wife is actually your---”

“They’re brother’s and sister’s Yamada. And it happens that his sister is my wife…”

“Are you sure about this?...” Daiki asked while tailing Yuya who keeps on dragging him also to walk faster in order not to be late on buying a ticket for the plane their about board.

“I can feed you myself, so there’s nothing to be worried about…” he said, smiling as he pats the boy on the head to believe on him.

“That’s not what I’m talking about…” Daiki frowned. “I was referring about the truth. Aren’t you curious why you look exactly like your fake father and why that fake father of mine turned to be your real father?...”

“Whatever it is, it doesn’t matter anymore because what’s matter is that you and I…” he pointed at Daiki and then to himself. “Will be together forever…”

“I like that…” Daiki wiggled in excitement. To be with Yuya like this is a dream come true for him. He doesn’t need anything in this word anymore, even all the riches in this world, but sometimes he can still be the Daiki he used to be, the you know - spoiled brat. “Yuya, I want that!...” he pointed at the store with chips and beverages on it.

“Nope…” he pinches Daiki’s nose. “You’ll have lunch once we’re on our seat already…”

“But I want those! I want those!...”

“I’m not allowing you to be bossy anymore because right now I’m the boss…”

“Then I hate you!...”

“Oh, it’s ok, I know you still loves me…”

“I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!...”

“Oooops!...” he dodges Daiki’s punches and then all of a sudden their plane were called to board passengers immediately. “We have to go!...” he said but Daiki isn’t moving. “I’m leaving you…” he teased but Daiki didn’t badge. “Ok, I’m going without you…” he turned his back knowing what’s next and it’s Daiki’s bear hug with a bite on his ear. “Ouch…” he chuckled. “That’s sweet…”
