It was the first scene they were going to shoot with Yamada, in Shibuya nonetheless. Yuuto had been on edge the past couple of days. Ryosuke wasn’t needed at the beginning of the drama, and that left him, Chinen and Daiki alone. It had been just a couple of days, but he hadn’t been able to hang out with Ryosuke at all and he missed him already.

‘Act annoyed, act annoyed, act annoyed. It’s Gunjou in front of you right now, not Yama-chan. And you don’t have to think about how good he looks in that uniform or how cute he is, smiling like that and how badly you want to glomp him and kiss him and… Oh, crap.’

He was so absorbed in his thoughts that he didn’t notice he had slapped Daiki’s arm too hard. He stared at Yamada, who kept on smiling widely, ‘til the director yelled ‘stop!’.
“Yuuto, are you nuts?! You didn’t have to hit me that hard!” Daiki snapped at him, stroking his abused arm and pouting.
“Huh?” Yuuto turned to him, and suddenly realized what had happened. “Oh?! I’m sorry, Dai-chan! I-…I probably was too into the part!” He said, putting one hand behind his head and laughing awkwardly.

Ryosuke approached the taller boy and looked at him with a worried expression. “Yuuto, are you okay?” He asked the younger boy, putting a hand on his arm reassuringly.
“Yes, I’m totally fine!” Yuuto said a bit too loud, causing Chinen and Daiki to look at him with raised eyebrows. “C’mon, let’s go! We still have a lot of work to do, don’t we?!” And proceeded to wander to the next location, not making eye contact with Ryosuke even for one second.

They were still in Shibuya, all four of them sitting on the wall. Yuuto knew too well this scene was going to make him, Chinen and Daiki -well, their characters actually- look like total idiots, while Yamada’s character was completely put under the spotlight.

He had to admit, however, that Yama-chan really gave out that cool aura while acting.

He was listening to him, really carefully, with his mouth hanging open. After a moment he began to think that, probably, he was too into the part again, because if he had really been Souta and Ryosuke had really been Gunjou, he would have stood up, grabbed him and kissed him senselessly.

To make him shut the hell up.

Yuuto had just finished getting ready to leave. It was really late, so they decided to call it a day. He waved goodbye to Chinen and Daiki and went to find Yamada. He was nowhere to be seen, and it would have been better for the both of them to walk home together.

He wandered about the set ‘til he found what he was looking for. He smiled.

There he was. Yamada. On a couch. Fast asleep.

Yuuto crouched down next to the sleeping form. Ryosuke was calm in his sleep, a little smile adorning his lips. He brushed a strand of hair away from the other’s eyes carefully, and set on watching him sleep for a while. He didn’t want to wake him up just yet, so he decided to let Ryosuke rest a bit.

He watched him closely, taking in every feature of Yamada’s face. It was a precious moment and he wanted to treasure it. Then, his eyes fell on the older boy’s lips. Full, soft-looking lips. He unconsciously began to caress them with his thumb just so slightly, but that was enough to awake Ryosuke.
“Hey, sleepyhead.” Yuuto grinned as Yamada opened his tired eyes to see who it was. The shorter boy smiled a bit and sat up, just enough to put his head on Yuuto’s shoulder.

The younger boy looked down at him, and the urge to kiss Ryosuke was back. He was too cute for his own good. But he had to restrain himself, because the other was slowly falling asleep again. He stood up and made Yamada do the same, putting an arm around the other’s waist to keep him up.

“Come on, let’s go home.”

4.

They were checking together the scene where Yuuto had to struggle with his M sized pantsu. Said boy was a little annoyed, because two certain groupmates were giggling amongst themselves and making fun of him, while pointing at the little screen. It wasn’t his fault his character was a complete twit!

On the other hand, Yamada was just watching with a little smile playing on his lips, laughing softly when Souta did something extremely stupid -like kick a pair of boxers, for instance.

When they finished, and everybody had congratulated him Ryosuke turned his way, smiling. He stood up and went to sit next to the younger boy.
“Yuuto can play a lot of different characters, ne? Even if they are so different from each other, you always pull it off.” Yamada said, smiling a bit and playing with one of Yuuto’s hands.

The younger boy was stunned, for no particular reason. He had expected a bit of teasing or giggling -Yamada was a dork after all, just like him- but no. He had complimented him, and he wanted to call Chinen and Daiki just to tell them ‘Yama-chan complimented me and you dorks just made fun of me, so he gets a kiss and you don’t!’
As if they’d give a damn about Yuuto kissing them.

He stared at Ryosuke and his smile, not knowing how to respond. Eventually he leaned closer, and closer, and closer ‘til he was a breath away from the older boy’s lips.

“Nakajima-san! It’s time for the next scene!”

‘Crap. Crapcrapcrap.’

“C-co-co-coming!”

Eventually it came the day when Yuuto seriously thought somebody, somewhere hated him. ‘Otherwise they wouldn’t make Yama-chan look THAT sexy!’, he thought, while they were getting ready to shoot the scene where Gunjou went to Souta’s house.
He was lucky that he had to stutter and huff and avoid making eye contact with the other during that scene, because he couldn’t have helped it anyway.

The first part of the shooting went smoothly. Yamada had to smile that Gunjou-sickly-sweet-smile and Yuuto sort of understood how his character must have felt, because if he had been Souta he would have wiped that stupid grin off the other’s face a long time ago.

Now they were shooting alone. Gunjou was apologizing for doubting Souta, and while doing that he walked around the room. And during Ryosuke’s speech, Yuuto drifted off again.

‘I said it on purpose, when I said that I wanted to meet your teacher.’ Gunjou said, turning to the taller boy.
Souta’s eyes widened and then his expression hardened. He stood up and took Gunjou by his sleeve, drawing him closer.
‘Why did you do something like that?’ Souta asked, looking at Gunjou with narrowed eyes. It was the shorter boy’s turn to widen his eyes now. Souta made him sit on the bed, and then pushed him backwards. The taller boy crawled on top of him. ‘Why?’, he sneered.

‘I-…I didn’t want to lose to you.’ Gunjou stuttered, and it was the first time Souta saw something like that. He looked cute like that, harmless, frightened even. Souta couldn’t help but lean down, brushing his lips on the other’s cheek and then-

“Sorry for doubting you.” Hearing the last sentence, Yuuto snapped out of it. Remembering he was supposed to answer to that, he looked down and then back at Yamada.

“U-uhn.”

“Yatta! We did it, Yuuto!” Ryosuke came to a halt in front of the younger boy after checking what they had just filmed. But Yuuto was too preoccupied at the moment, struggling to take the top of his gakuran off. The temperature had suddenly increased.
Seeing that the taller boy wasn’t paying any attention to him, Ryosuke pouted. That always worked.
“Yuuto? Yuu-chan?” Said boy had just managed to take the ‘damn thing’ off while he heard that nickname. One single glance at Yamada was enough to make him grab the other’s hand and begin to pull him towards only Yuuto knew where.

“Come with me.” Huffed the taller boy, ignoring Ryosuke’s calls of ‘What are you doing?’. He came to a halt only when they were inside their empty dressing room. He locked the door and proceeded to walk towards the smaller boy. Ryosuke met him halfway, wrapping his arms around the other's neck.
“Are you all right?” He asked worried, burying one of his hands in Yuuto’s hair and slowly massaging his scalp.

“All right? Tell me you’re joking.” Yuuto said, while he kept walking, eventually trapping Ryosuke between the wall and his body. He slowly traced the other’s cheek with his lips, stopping when he reached Ryosuke’s ear.
“I had to watch you smiling that killing smile of yours for days, watch you sleep so peacefully while you looked so cute. I let you flirt with me in front of everybody and couldn’t even steal a little kiss.”

He got rid of the other’s jacket and slowly placed his hands under Ryosuke’s shirt. He heard the older boy’s breath hitch and smirked. “And now they had to make you look so sexy. How can I be all right?!”
Yuuto let his lips brush along Ryosuke’s collarbone, then he went up again, ghosting his lips above the older’s ones.
“Yuuto…” Yamada fisted Yuuto's shirt and leaned up trying to kiss him, to no avail. Yuuto moved away and, when Ryosuke whined, smirked again.

“No Ryo-chan, I’m not going to let you kiss me.” But when Ryosuke was watching him with half lidded eyes and an expression that clearly said ‘Just freaking kiss me right now!’, he thought that, maybe, the whole thing had not been frustrating only for him.

He stroked both chubby cheeks with his thumbs and then crushed his lips against Yamada’s.

‘Finally.’
