Is it true?

"Mayo?"

He turned around after hearing the oh-so familiar voice saying his nostalgic nickname and smiled tenderly at the younger boy that looked at him with sad eyes. "Yabucchi," he answered with a nickname just as nostalgic.

The slender boy however didn't return the smile. He looked like he wanted to cry, but yet he kept strong. Shoon assumed he knew what this was about, but yet he didn't say anything. He just kept smiling, as if it would make any difference to the somewhat painful situation.

"I haven't seen you in a while Yabucchi. I'm sorry I couldn't come to watch you butai if that's what this is about. University is somewhat killing me." A sly grin placed on his face, he tried to talk his way out of it. He knew what subject would be coming and he seriously didn't want to talk about it. Not with him. Not with Yabu Kota of all people. Because it would mean he'd show his weakness to the younger boy, that ever since he was little had looked up to him. Had clung onto him when he was scared and had spilled all his secrets when there was on one else that would listen to him. Now this boy was a man, but yet Shoon didn't want the strong image he had in the eyes of the younger to go away. It was something too precious in their complicated relationship. It made it stable even in hazy times.

He turned around do fiddle with his school books, but two arms pulled him back.

The taller boy placed his chin on the older ones shoulder, and with a hoarse voice he muttered, "is it true? Keito said you won't be coming for Hyakushiki anymore. What's this about? You said you'd stay here. That you wouldn't leave."

Shoon sighed. His breath stocked in his troth as he turned around and saw the pleading brown eyes of the younger one. They were filled with a sadness that he couldn't possibly place in any category and he felt bad that he was the source of this sadness hidden in the eyes of his younger friend.

"I... I know I said that. But things are different now. Back in the time we were still together in a group. I was the oldest, you looked up to me and I sincerely thought we would debut. The 4 of us. But things turned out differently. You have your own group -- your own life to live now. And I have one too. I just don't think my life is destined to be in the background for Johnny's Entertainment. I want more Kota. I deserve more."

With those words he broke himself from the arms of the other male and started packing his stuff into the leather bag he always dragged around. He didn't dare to look back to the younger and behind him were no sounds of what so ever, thus he assumed it was save and he was alone. However when he turned around so he could leave the dressing room, he saw that the brunette hadn't left and that he was still in the same position as he had been when Shoon had broke loose.

The only difference was that right now, big tears were escaping from his eyes and silent hickups disturbed the silence. With his sleeve Kota tried to hide his tears, slightly embarrassed maybe. And for a spit second the young law student didn't see Yabu Koya, mental leader of Hey!Say!JUMP and one of the biggest upcoming talents in the Japanese entertainment business. He saw little Yabu-chan, leader of Ya-Ya-yah, the kid with the angelic voice that brought smiles to everyone near him, but that cried so easily himself when things overwhelmed him, or didn't go the way he wanted them to go.

Before he knew what was happening to him he also cried and both boys found comfort in each others arms as they wailed, each with their own reasons.

"I don't want to miss you even more Shoon, I really don't," Kota sniffled into the smaller ones shoulder and Shoon pushed him back a little so he could face him straight and honest.

"You won't miss me. Because I won't leave."

"You mean--"

"I mean I will leave the company. But I will never leave you. As long as you think about me. As long as you remember my voice. And as long as you will recall the name Yamashita Shoon with a smile, I will never leave you. Because I'm in your heart."

And with that, he gently placed a kiss on the taller ones lips, sealing the fact that he indeed, will never leave him.

I'm sorry. This story has no plot or what-so-ever. But I guess you could call this my answer towards the rumors Shoon has left JE. If it's true, I'm seriously gonna cry and wail. Because I love Shoon. I truly do. I don't want to miss his awkwardly cute smile, his sweet voice, his backflips and his awesome Urugets segment.

But then again... I do think Shoon deserves way more than what he gets within JE right now. And my memories of Mayo will never leave me. And as long as I keep those close. Shoon will never. Same as that Taiyou never left me either.
