Disclaimer: Inspired by Anime ‘Gravitation’ and I didn’t expect to post two het fic in two weeks. I feel amazing! This fic was inspired by http://community.livejournal.com/omonatheydidnt/5367271.html where they say Shinee was feminine. This is un-beta as usual.
Summary: Jinki was a jerk but Minjung love him too much to actually leave him.
Author’s Note: This was for Jinki’s birthday, Happy Birthday, Jinki ya! Please forgive me for making Jinki a bad guy and I have no idea what is happening to my brain when I wrote this. Please do comments after you read this!!!
“I said get out!”
“…But Jinki, you have to eat something, you haven’t eaten anything since yesterday lunch and you promise me to go to the park with me today!” Minjung said out sadly while putting down the food tray on the coffee table in Jinki’s study room.
“I SAID GET OUT! I have to send my script by tomorrow, can’t you see it.” Jinki had thrown some of the papers at Minjung. Minjung shiver and flinch at the sudden outburst. Minjung sob.
“FINE! I DON’T CARE ANY MORE.” Minjung said out sadly as she ran out of the room and shut the door with a loud ‘Bang’.
Jinki sigh as he stared at the door for a moment as if nothing has gone wrong before he continue his work. Meanwhile, Minjung ran out of the house and went to the rooftop.
- ‘Why he always has to shout at me when he was angry or when he was working on his script.’
‘He doesn’t love you!’
- ‘He does.’
‘He always shouted at you and treats you like dirt!’
- ‘…but I know he loves me, if not…he won’t marry me right?’
‘That doesn’t gave him the right to yell at you, you were his wife.’
- Noooo, Jinki…I know you love me…
Minjung cried sadly as she think about Jinki’s feelings towards her. She really loves him, but she still doesn’t know why Jinki will still treat her badly most of the time even after they got married. Maybe Jinki just doesn’t love her the way that she loves him.

Five hours later, when Jinki was still working on this script on his final chapter; he felt hungry, he looks at the now cold food that was on the coffee table opposite him. He got up and walk toward the table. On the table there was a set of nicely decorated Korean style breakfast. A glass of orange juice, a plate of kimbap, a small plate of kimchi and a plate of fried chicken fillet with pepper sauce, he took up a piece of kimbap and eat it, Minjung always make good food for him to eat but why he was such a jerk for scolding her and warn her not to bother him when he was on a deadline. He suddenly felt bad.
Jinki finally walk out of his room and try to find Minjung as he started to feel sorry for treating her badly, wanted to apologies. Jinki look around the house but can’t find his wife. Then he look out the balcony and found that it was raining heavily. He panics, because Minjung is very afraid of the thunder.
He tried to think where would Minjung go and then he remember a place that Minjung would mostly go when she was sad.
The rooftop….
Jinki panted as he ran up the two steps at a time toward the rooftop, he faintly heard crying sob coming on the other side of the door, he open the door to the rooftop and he tried to find Minjung in the dark that was cause by the rain.
“Minjung! Where are you?” Jinki shouted in the rain.
“…(sob)…Jin…ki…” Minjung cried terrified as she shelter herself at one of the corner of the rooftop; completely wet from the rain.
Baang! The thunder roar…
“Ahhhhhhh, help……..make it go away!” Minjung cried as Jinki hug her, trying to comfort her. Minjung struggle in Jinki’s embrace as she was not really conscious at the moment.
“Minjung! I’m here!” Jinki panic as he tried to shook Minjung to her conscious. When Jinki didn’t get to wake Minjung, he quickly carries her bridal style and took her back to their house and called the doctor.
Jinki pace left and right outside the bedroom, in stress. He didn’t thought that these things will happen, what if something bad happen to her as he was being a scumbag for treating her badly.
‘It serve you right!’ His brain said.
- ‘I’m I treating her too badly’ Jinki asked his brain.
‘You were treating her like dirt; you treated her like she was worthless!’
- ‘I…’
‘You have no idea what she had sacrifice just to be with you, you scumbag!’His brain scolded him.
- ‘I know that our married was not blessed by her parents but I do really love her…”
‘If you really love her treat her well, sometime there are no second chance in real life…you will regret if you don’t take your chances seriously…’
- I want to make her happy and felt love again like when we got together in the first place…
- I know I was jerk, I can’t control my feelings properly, but she was always the one who comfort me even when I treated her badly earlier,I know she was sad too, but she didn’t show it…I should have treat her better…and take it for granted.
‘Then do it better this time, so that she will fall for you again, treat her well or she will leave you for good…just don’t regret on your decision…
“Mr Lee!” The female doctor came out from the room.
“Doctor Kim, how is Minjung?” Jinki asked worriedly.
“She will be fine, I have given her a shot to calm her down, she need plenty of rest and…”
“And…did something happen to her?” Jinki panic and his mind was blank and worried.
“Well not really!” Jinki gave the doctor a frown.
“What do you mean?” The doctor gave Jinki a small smile before she continues.
“You should have treated her more carefully and full of love, don’t you know she was pregnant, take her to the hospital tomorrow for a full check up, these are the medicine she have to take after four hours later, she may have developed a mild fever later, so gave her the fever medicine when she had it, other vice, just gave her the other two medicine would be sufficient.” The doctor pack her things as Jinki tried to digest the news that he just got from the doctor.
“Doctor, are you sure that Minjung is pregnant?”“Positive!”
“…”
“This is her test result, it arrives today, I called today but she didn’t pick up. So…when you called I decided to bring it and give it to you, I may guess that she would already knows the answer.” Doctor Kim bow before she walks out of the house.
Jinki look at the result with shaky hands while walking to his and Minjung’s bedroom, Jinki put the result on the bedside table and sit beside Minjung sleeping form; he caress Minjung’s cheek, “Why didn’t you tell me?” Jinki whisper. Minjung shiver at Jinki’s touch.
Jinki smile sadly as he watches Minjung lean to his touch. He climbs to the other side of his bed and lay down before he hug Minjung to his embrace. Jinki kiss Minjung on the forehead and whisper ‘ I’m sorry for being a jerk, I won’t shout or yell at you again. Please give me a chance.’ Jinki smile when he felt Minjung hug and snuggles up to him.
“Jinki…” Minjung mumble in her sleep.
“I love you Minjung.” Jinki smile as he hugs his wife tighter and falls asleep too.
Next morning…
Minjung yawn cutely in Jinki’s embrace, Minjung smile as she felt really warm even though she can still hear the rain hitting the window pane, suddenly the smile that she had on her face vanish when she remember the incident that happen the other day. She opens her eyes and met with Jinki’s worried gaze.
“Jinki!...” Minjung shiver even though she was still in Jinki’s warm embrace. Minjung eyes started to tear and Minjung’s teary gaze makes Jinki’s heart aches just by looking at it.
“Shh…it’s alright now, I’m not going to yell or shout at you ever again, I promise!” Jinki hug Minjung tighter in his embrace. Minjung sob and shivers in Jinki’s embrace. She struggles.
“I know I’m not a good husband for you…I know I didn’t treat you well like I’m suppose to but I really love you, please give me a chance, I’m sorry…please give me a chance…just this once, please.” Minjung stop struggling when she hears Jinki apologies and Jinki never apologies…
“I…” Minjung look at Jinki and hug him back. “I’m sorry too…I shouldn’t…”
“No….you did nothing wrong! It was me; I was being a jerk for making you sad and cry.” Jinki said out.
“You were not mad at me?” Minjung asked uncertainly.
“Of cause not, I love you!” Jinki kiss Minjung on the forehead, Minjung cried and Jinki went panic mode, where he sit up taking Minjung along with him, he caress Minjung damp cheeks.
“Why are you crying again?” Jinki tried to wipe away the tear that Minjung shed but it keeps fallen out.
“You really are a crybaby!” Jinki hug Minjung to his arms again. Minjung pouted cutely.
“…but you are my baby…” Minjung blush when she heard Jinki confession.
“Why are you being so cheesy all of a sudden?” Jinki make Minjung lean on his chest and hug her from behind.
“…Because I just got to know that you were very important to me and I love you. And so was our baby!” Jinki put his head on Minjung’s shoulder and caress Minjung stomach; Jinki felt Minjung tense.
“You …knew!” Minjung bit her lip when she asked.
“You didn’t plan to tell me?” Jinki asked.
“You…were busy…I’m sorry!”
“…(chuckle)…” Jinki kiss Minjung’s cheek. Minjung turn around and gave Jinki a frown.
“Eh!” Minjung title her head to the right; cutely. Jinki smile looking at Minjung cute gesture.
“Did I tell you that you were really cute?” Jinki gave Minjung a kiss on the lips. “I think our baby girl will be as cute as you!”
“…But I want a baby boy!” Minjung protest.
“I’m pretty sure that it was a girl!”
“A boy!” Minjung whine.
“Well we can have both…if you want to!” Jinki climb on top of Minjung; making Minjung lay flat on the bed, blushing furiously. Jinki smirk and kiss Minjung on the lips for the second time that morning.
