Mukasey, the nominee for Attorney General, was asked by Senator Leahy today directly if the President could authorize an illegal activity. "Be careful what you wish for..." is a lesson our politicians should've learned quite some times ago. Cattle prodding Gonzalez until he was out the door didn't guarantee that the next one in line would be any more desireable...
