I passed my oral exam/defense, so now I just have to finish the revisions for next Wednesday and I'm done.

The Tour De France continues to be mired in drug scandals and other such things. So far two entire teams (Astana and Cofidis) have withdrawn from the race after one of their members failed a drug test, and Michael Rasmussen, the man who had the yellow jersey for quite a while and was poised to win the tour, was ejected from his team for violation ( Read more... )

I see that Harry Potter has been shipped by UPS, thus foiling my plan not to ever use UPS again. It's sitting in Columbus right now and presumably they got Saturday delivery (since they guaranteed it today or it's free).
