Ok, I can understand that this is a tradgy, but please don't bring it up on me. Columbine was much worse than this!! To the matter of fact, a similar shooting not only happened in CO last year, but in PA as well! But, that's my viewpoint on the whole thing. After all, I'm an Army Brat. It's hard enough to deal with everything else in the world, so why must that old news be repeated OVER and OVER again? Gah, that's all they ever do nowadays. What they have to do is just coap with it and continue on with their lives (though they might not forget it). It's said OVER AND OVER AGAIN because it was tragic. Ok, here's a quote from myspace by an anynoumous source

I know how you feel. It's as if they're saying "Hey! Incase you forgot or didn't hear it the last 10 times!". It's not that we aren't sympathetic, but what is the purpose of repeating the exact same stories? Are the networks trying to prove their "compassion" by the proportion to their coverage? Do the networks believe that our attention & compassion are equally short and thus we must be constantly reminded? To sound more cynical, or are the networks only interested in the rating this story brings by playing on the sensational aspect of it?

I say just report on any new findings but don't turn it into a 30-minute special by padding it with previous news of the incident.
