Pete just invited the ex and his kids to our annual Jack-o-lantern carving party. There will be kids there that they know and it's a "kid" kind of party anyway. I just have to remain positive. . . I know she'll probably say no, but. . . fingers crossed.

Owning a franchise. . . hmmm, that might be cool.

There's this company called "Edible Arrangements" that makes fruit basket type stuff. I read the franchising information, and the up-front costs are not too bad. . . hmmmmmmmm

We have a critical design transfer. . . historically, the designers transfer this stuff on the end of the day Friday. . . this is so critical that the order must be placed first thing Monday. 5 other people have to touch the data (and I have to orchestrate it) before then. . . so guess who's working her weekend. I can't wait to relive the honeymoon. . . it's been a beautiful week here and I've been stuck at work, so all the more reason for a party!!

I'm making ethnic dishes from the different countries we visited, too.

I'm almost happy that Brittney Spears is going to be a stepmom. . . it puts it into perspective for the kids.

Pete. But now he's at work. . . I was working from home so I could spend time with him when he got home this afternoon. . . so I'm actually seeing LESS of him because he came home early. Arg.
